I have struggled with anxiety and depression since I was a teenager. Since I began playing Dinah, both have decreased significantly. I really do think I’m drawing strength from her in my real life.
If I could give my younger self a piece of advice, I think it would be don’t worry so much. ‘Cause I used to spend a lot of time worrying about the outcome of things, what if I do something “wrong,” what if I make the wrong choice, and honestly, 90 percent of the shit I worried about never even happened anyway.
