Lor was having a nice time. Well, not nice, considering the circumstances, but not exactly bad either compared to other circumstances she's been through. So just a regular time. She was having a regular time, chilling out by herself in a field on New Year's. As one does.

And then, some kind of random bastard magic decides to mess it up. Now, this was an especially bastardy type of bastard magic: body swap magic. Of course all Lor experiences at first is a power short that makes her shut down completely for a few seconds. Usually she wouldn't even notice that happened until she gets a pop up about it.

But this time, she woke up. As in, woke up woke up. The kind of wake up a living thing does after passing out. No beeps or buzzes or error codes or other miscellaneous computer related information, she wakes up like she just took a worse than average nap.

The first thing the ship... no, I guess teen. The first thing the teen notices is the weird taste in their mouth, it's just one at least. Which already is a dead giveaway that This Isn't Her Body Or At Least It's Not Her Usual One. Which already was terrifying, because what if she's a monster again now???

Ok, another new thing: breathing, that she has to do now. And there's a heartbeat, just one this time, is that good or bad? Oh, wait, cool, she can smell now. That's totally new and weird. Keep breathing, it's not automatic because she's thinking about it.

Wait maybe she should open her eyes. There's only two this time, and they're on the same side of this body. Ok, now she's just gonna take a look at- OH MY STARS EVERYTHING IS SO CLEAR THIS IS INSANE??? Closing those because that's too much to handle at the moment!

Ok wait breathing this fast feels wrong how does she slow down??? She's at least figured out that this is an organic body so she doesn't try to attempt computer stuff because that's not possible. Ok, she's figured out a rhythm to this breathing thing and is going to attempt to Eyes again.

One eye open, try not to freak out at the fact that she's seeing things clearly with her own vision. Ok wait one eye isn't enough there's a blind spot, how does she fix that?? Wait, wait, other eye, right. Riiiight... Does she wanna try that again yet?

No let's do something else, ok... Maybe see if she can talk? Yeah, that seems less overwhelming. Ok, one, two...

"This is a tEST POST WAIT! OH MY–!"

OH MY GOD THAT'S JHADIC'S VOICE THIS MUST BE HIS BODY ITS TIME TO PANIC AND.

WAIT WHAT DOES SHE DO NOW SHE'S NEVER GOTTEN THIS FAR USUALLY SHE JUST SHUTS OFF???

Almost forgot to breathe! Gotta keep doing that! But not fast which is really hard now? Is this panic? Is this what being panicked feels like for real? Because it sucks major ass and she would like to feel a different emotion please!

The relief she experiences at the moment she receives the message is almost enough to send her into an overload. But, she just manages to stay calm enough to send a reply.
