“J is for Jevel, the god of health and atrophy. We each have the Tower Keeper's strength in us, until that strength runs out.”
"Half the Tower Keeper's face is that of a youth in His prime, and the other, an old man."
The 8th of the set, Jevel is the god of health and atrophy. The god of wellness and disease. He is a god of calmness and wrath. He strikes and saves for little to no reason, either given praise or defied, he acts how he wishes. The kids late mother fell to this gods wishes, passing away while the kid was on his first tour of the walls. That single act made the kid what he is today. When evoked, he grants an added resilience to enemies. A necessary idol if you think a challenge is needed and new game plus is not quenching your thirst
On an artistic note, I took some liberties with this one. In the small text we do get about this god we find out that his face is split in two. I felt this was a little limiting on what I could do, what I could express. So instead of making him split faced, I made his head have a front and a back, and both sides get an arm that also represent the states of health (facing us being healthy and away being crippled and sickened). I’m not too sure if i’ve wandered too far from the source material. What do you think? should i go back and alter it to fit the original description?
