I think he’s started filming. The latest pic of spntapeball had red tape on it which is Jared’s :) Love the idea of Sam being scruffy at first. Jared looks great in these pics :D

Twelve days?!?  Yikes.

It’s pretty much been a lot of rain.  Some minor tree limbs down, but nothing huge, and a lot of little twigs a blown around.  But my house is on an incline, and the actual bottom of the incline is about a half-a-block away in an actual stream that drains into the natural water system around here, which is pretty well-maintained against erosion and things, so there’s no really big flooding concerns, either.

I’m not giving up on the show, IMO it all comes down to the writing. Personally I hate being hit over the head with ultra-PC stuff all the time. If that happens a lot, then yeah, I may no longer watch. But not because of the Doctor being female. I’ll shut up while people now call for my death. :(

@jessm78  Okay, yeah, I hit the reblog button before thinking. I agree with you - it’s about the writing (same with Wayward Sisters). I’ll give it a chance, but I really hope they are both written well, by women would be ideal.

In real life I met a playwright who said he frequently didn’t know how to write women characters. He’d write the character then assign a female name to it. BUT.....that’s not writing women. That’s writing men and saying it’s a woman. And I suspect this will happen with the above two shows, but I’ll watch to make sure.

I’m getting a bit tired of ultra-PC stuff too. Like when the show creates a gay character where there wasn’t one previously. I get that representation is important, but don’t cram it in where it doesn’t fit, it ends up looking like the writers shoehorned in the information and it’s obvious. How to Get Away With Murder put representation in the show beautifully, Once Upon A Time did not.

Oh gosh, you got it too huh? I expressed disappointment in Jared once and I got the same reaction from people: “please keep your hate out of the Jared tag.” Only in the SPN fandom does disappointment = hate. I wish people would stop flipping out so much. Apparently you have to agree with everything an actor does to even express an opinion. smh…

I really am/was disappointed in the way society has shifted and it’s now okay to publicly call out/shame a business on SM, and I used Jared’s tweet as an example. He’s tweeted that he accepted Favor’s apology - which is awesome both because they apologized and Jared responded in kind.

There’s no hate here, not from me. I simply wanted to know if his behaviour is normal for this generation or what. From the sounds of things it is. One person even commented saying something like ‘everyone does it’.....to which I can say with absolute assurance: I don’t. I’ve never used SM to get a company to respond to my complaint. Never. And I have had some major complaints. But they’ve always been resolved by me contacting the person in charge. So I thought maybe I’m just old and I do things the old fashioned way - lol!

But really, disappointment isn’t hate. Disagreeing with a celebrity’s choice isn’t hate. I still like Jared, I’m just not really comfortable with his actions in how he used SM to shame a company into getting resolution. (yes, I see it as shaming). I don’t care if ‘everyone does it’. It still makes me feel uncomfortable to see tweets like that and to know the fan base will vilify the company based on the tweet. We don’t have all the details, but people will automatically support Jared because he’s Jared, ignoring any fault he may have had in the situation (yes, he may have been at fault somehow - we don’t have all the facts).

Aww!! Can I ask what the source is for that pic? I’ve seen a few filming pics from yesterday but haven’t seen that one before
