My friend sent me this and I’m a huge astronomy nerd and so my immediate thought was “YOU FOOLS EUROPA HAS GEYSERS, ITS NOT JUST AN ENTIRE ICY WASTELAND THERE ARE AREAS OF HEAT, AND ANY SOCIETY WOULD BE BUILT AROUND THESE GEYSERS” but THEN I thought “oh the geysers are privatized of course they are it’s the ice wars on Europa”

The ice you can learn to live with, friend… but the geysers… you can’t prepare for them. And they’re out there, waiting… that’s the REAL War right there… that’s what happened to my crew.

After birth and before beginning their careers as foragers (as all Honey bees cycle through all the jobs in the Hive throughout their lifespan), Honey bees take short flights back and forth, to and from the Hive, to orient themselves with their wings and their home so they can learn its location and how to get back home after foraging! Everyone has to learn, these are just smol little baby turkeys. Bees use the angle of the sun for location so adults have a better and more direct sense of location than any human
