{ƒ}—Jessie grunted as he was pushed against a locker, eyes shut tight. This was getting typical. He hated his parents for making him go to public school, he hated this guy for trying to extort him for his money, and most of all. He hated the vile things he was saying - slurs because he’s gay, slurs for his stutter, and slurs just because.

{ƒ}—Jessie tapped on the other’s shoulder, standing a little straighter than he normally would.  He felt a little awkward, but it was important that he get their attention.

    “E-Excuse me,” the French teen stuttered, looking in the other’s eyes.  “I l-lost my phone here a m-m-moment ag-go and I was w-wondering if you c-could call it so I c-can find it,” he said. He knew the other was a stranger, but desperate times called for desperate measures.

{ƒ}—Jessie had no idea when he went out today that he would be forced to talk with some stranger at their house, but he wasn’t in charge of when his car broke down.  He guessed he should have remembered to charge his phone.  Now he was standing in front of a door, taking a breath before finally knocking on the door.  He hoped he didn’t stutter his way into an even more awkward situation.

{ƒ}-Jessie was leaning against a building, staring up at the sky with his arms across chest. He seemed somewhat out of place against the city street - his clothes were light, loose, bright, and flowing - not appropriate for the gloomy, chilly weather. His brightly colored make up contrasted with the dark city streets, and made his blue eyes pop. His attitude reflected his surroundings though.

      “F-Fuck...” he grumbled, peeling himself off the wall and turning to walk away, running immediately into another person and getting knocked to the ground, finally dirtying up his outfit. “Merde! S-S-Sorry I w-wasn’t looking wh-where I was g-g-going,” he stuttered out, looking at the ground, then up at them, pitifully offering a hand. “Help me up?”

{ƒ}-Jessie cleared his throat, taking a deep breath. He smiled at the person before him, a firm one - that seemed uncertain whether or not it should be on the face that was currently wearing it. He hated that he was never sure of what he wanted to say. That was mostly due to how unattached to his peers he’d been growing up.

       The other part was from his noticeable stutter.

{ƒ}—Jessie looked at his phone, sighing as he saw the unanswered message on his phone. He didn’t really know what to say in response. ‘Oh hey, mom, sorry, I really don’t want to go because your friends scare the hell out of me’ didn’t exactly have a nice ring to it. He didn’t have much time to mull it over as he ended up slamming directly into a stranger on the street, sending his phone to the ground.

    “Merde!” He cried, also getting sent to the ground. He looked up at the stranger, “S-Sorry. I uh... wasn’t w-watching.” He mumbled, unable to look him in the eyes as he grabbed for his phone, now so cracked it’d probably cut his finger. “Are y-you okay?” He asked.
