          caleb’s feelings toward connor entirely depend on the verse/which connor we’re talking about tbh so i’ll give u a basic outline n then maybe specify to some other connors idk lets see where this goes lmao

          machine!caleb’s thoughts on connor are exactly that which cyberlife programmed him to have. he’s inferior, a deviant. something to eliminate or experience the torture amanda promises him whenever he comes close to failing his mission. as far as caleb is concerned, connor is his mission. connor is his sole purpose and depending on whether he’s successful in that mission or not will decide on his own fate. really, there’s something close to fear in relation to connor’s mere existence. but obviously not actual fear, that would mean he’s a deviant. that would be the worst possible outcome here.

           deviant!caleb’s feelings towards connor are far more complex. connor’s the one who deviated him, who broke his coding whether that be by force or other means. at the end of the day, connor’s the sole reason for calebs’ existence. he wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for connor deviating and trying to fuck cyberlife over. its fair to say that even caleb doesn’t really know how he feels about connor. he’s still coming to grips with emotions and the depth of them and how he actually has to deal with them now. mostly? on a very surface level type situation? he hates connor. resents him. wishes he’d just killed him instead of forcing this new life on the rk800-60. it depends entirely on the muse as to where this develops from there in all honesty. 

            with @lastdissent​​, caleb is.... while it starts off as more of a, connor trying to genuinely help caleb through his new found existence without amanda and cyberlife hanging over him every step of the way, their relationship develops into something of a fascination. an obsession that caleb can’t quite shift until it’s a mutual thing and they’re both as entwined with the other as they could possibly be. (their human verses are a whole other ball game tbh, think hatefuck to eventual Actual In Love people?? its wild. just ask jo, the caleb whisperer)

           with @sgaradh​​, caleb resents connor. but he can’t quite get enough of him. feels the need to consume and take whatever connor will give. he finds a strange ease in taking out his frustrations on the elder android and never feels anything for him beyond finding a way to vent the emotions and feelings that he’d never allowed himself to face in any other way.
