This is an intense emotional and suspenseful story! The chapters alternate between Olive and Jo and even though I didn't really connect with them I was still very much so interested in their story. I can't every remember reading about Jornada del Muerto and the Trinity test so it was interesting to read about and added a unique backdrop to the story.
