Eleven Questions

Rules:
1. Always post the rules. 2. Answer the questions from the person who tagged you and write eleven new ones. 3. Tag eleven people and link them to the post. 4. Actually tell them you’ve tagged them.
Of course, as per usual, we will be ignoring the last rule because I'm lazy. unu
Under the cut for length.
1. How are you feeling right now? Good or bad?
Just finished my essay that I've been putting off for a week, so pretty good!
2. What's one dream you've given up or pushed aside? Why?
To be good at math. Um...probably...maybe...writing? It's still very much a dream of mine and I haven't given up, but I've been pretty discouraged lately on the plausibility of that dream. I've started looking for alternatives—there are much better writers out there and it's been seven years with me focusing on writing and writing only. Might be time to find something new.
3. If you could go back in time, at any moment, where would you go and why?
Does this have to be in my timestream or can it be just any time in history? And would I be in that moment or would I just be watching? If it had to be some point in my life...I suppose I'd choose either to go back to some arbitrary, happy day when I was little that I've forgotten or I'd go to a day when I was depressed, about two or three years back. I would either want to see myself happy and remind myself that happiness doesn't have to be great to be good or to comfort myself that things would get better in the future.
Now if we're talking about any point in history, I'd go back to the beginning of time. Just curious to see what's there.
4. If you had the ability to master an instrument, which would it be?
Guitar. I adore the guitar. Maybe piano because that is one fantastic instrument, but probably guitar.
5. What do you like about yourself?
No.
I'll just reuse an answer and say my ability to forgive.
6. Here’s a shooting star. What did you wish for?
I used this question on you, this is cheating, Saph.
...I have no clue. I can never think of wishes when I'm given a shooting star. They slip my mind. Maybe that's because I don't really, really want something? Sort of sad, but sort of good I guess.
...I guess...I would wish...well, I really want my friends to be happy. That's always the first thing that comes to mind. Or at least to be okay. To persevere and find their dreams and be happy with where they stand in ten years.
Super cliché, yes.
If I had to wish for something less cliché (but still very cliché), I'd like somewhere I can wholeheartedly call home.
7. Do you think we should live each day as though it might be our last?
Yes and no. I agree with the psychology behind that statement. You know, leave no regrets and do what you want to do. But I also feel we do have to plan for the future. There's a reason why we believe that we'll be alive when we wake up tomorrow. It's basically coded into us, the desire to live. I don't want to start making funeral plans just yet. So I mean, do what you want and live each day to the fullest...but still plan for a tomorrow.
8. If you were to die right now and had the chance to call one person, who would it be?
I...want to say my sister, just to hear her voice again, but I think I'd also end up horribly depressed in my last few moments because I wouldn't be able to tell her anything and she is completely inadequate for comfort.
And I don't know the phone number of half the people I talk to online. XD
...Probably Sam. She's the one who comes to mind right now.
9. Have you ever kept up with a New Year's Resolution?
Gave up on that a looooooong time ago.
10. Do you think people can control their destiny?
I'd like to believe so, yes. I think things happen for a reason, but I'd also like to think that we do have some control over where we end up. I'm religious, but I don't like the idea of some divine being controlling our every movement and thought. I'd like to think that there is no such thing as destiny and that we can choose where we end up. Sure, things get thrown in our way and sometimes we end up terribly—I'm not naive about that—but I do believe that we have a choice in this world. So screw destiny.
It's also the philosophy I follow for Alfred. XD
11. If someone were to make a movie about your life, who would play you?
No one, because it wouldn't happen. x: //such a copout

And...my questions. I'm gonna use the same ones as my last batch because coming up with 22 questions requires too much brainpower.
1. If you could relive one day of your life, which day and why?
2. Favorite food?
3. What's the happiest memory you can think of?
4. Saddest quote you've ever read.
5. One thing that made you stop and rethink everything.
6. That one show/movie you've been meaning to watch but haven't gotten to yet. (C'mon guys, I'm sure I'm not the only one with a list!)
7. First song that comes to mind.
8. Favorite character (or top three).
9. Favorite movie and why.
10. One dream that you really, really want to achieve and why.
11. One person that you hope to never let go of and why.
