I was originally wanted to make it exactly, but decided reconstructing an inexpensive labcoat on hand into a modern cut gave me enough of the look without exactly being costume-y, keeping it Parks-friendly. As an added bonus, it's lightweight and not too warm!

Since it was originally to be part of a healer costume for LARPing, I figured the title is appropriate given my role IRL and in-game.

Rey (Disneybound), 2019

In case it’s hard to appreciate the ratchet-ness of this costume, I ordered a halloween black-fringe table-edge-runner thing and cut that and attached it to my sleeves and jeans for the full fringe effect. This for a party with classmates that spent eight hours a day in my presence, who literally didn’t know whose plus-one I was for the first half-hour. 

I came to a Star Wars themed holiday party dressed as dark side (my right) vs. light side (my left) Rey, without even realizing it (I was originally going for a Kylo/Rey hybrid).
