I'm gonna install this anti-surge box into the 98 LGT with a new strainer. Hopefully it fits and no major modifications are needed. I already have the Walbro 255, new injectors and fuel filter installed. I'll post comparison shots and a how to when I get it in.

Ok 2.5 RS guys check this intake inlet mod out I did to the 98 LGT (EJ25D). This probably works for the Impreza up to 01 and some Foresters. The 96 JDM LGT nose clip had a 2 piece snorkus (a J shaped tube running through a box). I unscrewed/discarded the odd box and kept the J in the fender attaching it to the air box and then to a 4 ply silicone coupler with a velocity stack. Then made an aluminium plate to keep the engine bay heat away from the inlet. Finally covering the whole intake with DEI heat reflective tape. The other stuff you can’t see here is: the dry panel air filter Weapon R “secret weapon” intake chopped w/a 4 ply silicone coupler attaching the JECS MAF Oil catch can attached to the PCV system
