When he's human Jean and Hanji work on a little code together for him to use with the little bunny noises to communicate with them still so they can gather even more data through Jean's own point of view in his titan body, giving them a whole new perspective. And during breaks while Jean's still a titan Hanji will just chat with him and he'll be able to chat back.
And when sitting on his shoulder she'd reach up to his hair and just run her fingers through it a bit cause it's soft and fun and also a good place to hold on since she's not big enough to hurt if she tugs. Sometimes if she needs to talk to someone on the ground she'd have Jean pick them up instead of putting her down just to see the startled expression on their face when Jean lifts them suddenly. She's almost fallen off laughing at how indignant Levi looks when he's picked up.
The first few times he changed back, Hanji wasn't quite sure what to do. She's usually just sit wherever they were and hold Jean, hugging him tight and murmuring comforting things in his ear until he calmed down enough to go back inside. But after a while she'd start bringing out what was essentially a care kit, with some pillows and blankets and Jean's favorite snacks so they could sit or lie down comfortably until Jean calmed down. If the weather was bad she'd take out a large umbrella too so they could still stay out as long as Jean needed. It became the routine for after any time Jean shifted and everyone knew to just leave the two outside cause they'd be out there for a while.
Jean spooning Hanji awkwardly when they sleep together (just sleep), for the first time, hugging her with his arms but keeping his hips away because he's so hard and it's so embarrassing and he has no idea what to do about it.
Hanji wouldn't really notice how awkward Jean was feeling cause she was facing away, she'd just snuggle into the arms around her and sigh contentedly. While she falls asleep she'd end up snuggling back more fully against Jean but she'd already be pretty much asleep and wouldn't notice Jean's boner and Hanji would just be sleeping with no problem while Jean flips out and doesn't know what to do.
