loneliness as hunger, grief as running away
the flesh-eating moths only attack if you run....the labyrinth is the human psyche....the moths desire and its result: grief and loneliness
running from that takes you away, from reality, from the people who love you and need you
the mirror shows you your deepest desires, losses. it takes you away, you run away, it preys on you, it eats you, the loneliness it eats you, and the mirror is lonely too....
sometimes we must make a stand - not morally, but as a way to improve ourselves. we must face our grief even as we acknowledge the appeal of running away
