i saw a comment on an absoluteradio interview with JDB recently that said something along the lines of "i'm suprised he doesn't write more lyrics for the band because he's so well spoken and poetic" (paraphrasing here) and it put words to my feelings because i agree so hard. watching interviews with james is always so fascinating and such a learning experience both about the history and relationships in the band but about the music as well, he is so passionate and speaks so eloquently and as a musician he is so talented and it's a gift to hear him talk about the creative and musical process of writing records and being in a band because he explains it in ways that i (someone who knows hardly anything about the technicality of writing music) that i can understand and connect to. okay this turned into a tangent...but i can't help but gush about james every once in a while.
