Birthdays have become very weird

Hello! Hmm, lemme break it down according to leagues:

FA WSL (England)

As of now, BT Sports has the broadcasting rights for the FA WSL but they only choose to live broadcast one match per week. Not all matches are broadcasted (boohoo) so the best way to follow those matches would be following the official FA WSL clubs’ twitters as the clubs will livetweet the matches as they progress. 

I highly recommend following fyfawsl as they always post links to streams and information regarding upcoming matches. They also provide download links to previous live broadcasted matches and review shows. Also, join their forum to discuss with fellow fans about matches/players/teams/etc. 

Honestly, if you have any questions regarding the English league, fyfawsl are your best bet. I’ve seen some FA WSL centric blogs on tumblr too - following them are a great way to be updated of the league ‘cause they usually liveblog the broadcasted matches.

As for news about the FA WSL, the official website itself is great. Each club (both WSL 1 and WSL 2) has its own page on the website so you can find news, team rosters, schedules and etc on there. Though I have noticed that some players aren’t listed on the website yet so it’s worth checking the clubs’ websites too.

Division 1 (France)

The league is broadcasted by France Televisions and Eurosport so we have better luck when it comes to watching the league. I think there’s a way to watch the official streams but they’re usually geoblocked. I’m not sure if all matches are broadcasted. Best way to watch a game would definitely be googling livestreams of the matches and/or the channels the matches will be broadcasted on.

Most clubs have their own twitter accounts so like the FA WSL, they livetweet the matches. The problem would be that they’re in French so unless you know French, Google Translate is your best friend. I’ll compile a list of the twitter accounts when I have time.

I don’t think I’ve seen much division une oriented blogs on tumblr besides from psgfem​. There used to be a really good Olympique Lyonnais tumblr ( olfeminines ) but the owner has migrated to twitter instead. 

Frauen Bundesliga (Germany)

This is by far the most accessible European women’s league, I’d say (based on how easy it is for me to find photos of the matches). According to miasanfamilie, the DFB provides HD livestreams for 1~2 matches each week (usually the top ones). They also have HD recaps for each week’s games so that’s a great way to catch up with the matches you’ve missed out on watching.

The official website is nice and has plenty of information about the league but it’s in German. I’ve seen users here who translate some of the stuff so if you ask around, there will be a willing German-speaking user who will translate for you. All clubs have their own websites (and probably other social media accounts too). I currently follow FC Bayern Frauen’s activity on mobile with the onefootball app. 

Amber ( miasanfamilie ) knows the bundesliga much better than I do so any questions about the bundesliga, she’s the expert to go to. Her rants/thoughts on the league are quite interesting so if you ask the right questions, she’ll go straight into indepth analysis. 

Note: Geoblocked streams can be watched by using VPNs (hola is quite good but some have raised privacy concerns). There are also illicit streams too.
