The artist, Jeff Stanley, works as cultural “hacker” and critical “terrorist”. The character, Jeff Stanley, plays the role of a 2010 Max Headroom, the popular 80s anti-corporation TV personality/seller of Pepsi talking head. Re_FX is part of Stanley’s current series, ConServer. FX serves as a response to the montage technique known as the Kuleshov Effect. Media delivers people. A few deliver media. The audience is the product.
