Hi Jaize! I'm glad you liked the hand drawings :) Okay, I can't illustrate this because my handwriting is egregious but here are my thoughts.

Samirah has great penmanship. I think she’d be skilled in many styles of handwriting, both in English and Arabic. Very elegant. Even her cramped, hastily written study notes somehow look nice.

Blitzen’s handwriting is a wispy, flowing cursive, made for quick notes on clothing design sketches and patterns. Pretty, but practically incomprehensible to anyone other than himself.

Magnus’ handwriting is loose and messy, but not unreadable. He isn’t concerned with fancy penmanship. He can write with both hands, though his right-handed work is more wobbly. I feel like he’d write in all caps.

Hearth’s print handwriting is meticulously practiced, sterile and neat. It's muscle memory. He’s not capable of sloppy writing.

As for Alex, I’m not really sure what hers would be like exactly, but I think she’d be able to write in multiple styles, like Samirah.

1. most recent wip?

I stayed up until 3 am last night sketching Pulp Musicals characters... 😅 It was worth it tho! really happy with them, especially since I'm pretty sure it was my first time ever drawing Chester, Charles, and Ahlaam. I wanna try taking these sketches into clip studio to add some color and stuff, so that's why I'm calling this a WIP, lol.

12. favorite drawing from this year?

ooh.... I've actually done so much art this year that I thought this would be a tricky one, but it wasn't, lmao. My favorite is absolutely Della Where'd Your Hair Go?! 🥰🥰🥰 I'm so fuckin proud of that one, and it was so fun while I was working on it. 😤🖤

15. biggest artist pet peeve?

at this second or last night technically it is the fact that kneaded erasers get really really sticky when you use them a lot in a short period?? like i love this thing, it's so handy and great, but the way my hands get when i use it a lot is awful. hate it. 😖

oh and also the fact that like 65% of the time I do art, I find I like the sketch better than the finished product 🥲💀
