happy late Valentine's to these two only

More doodles of Jay and Kestrelwind, I'm supposed to be asleep but old man yaoi is more important. Is it old man yaoi tho if only one of them is an old man and the other one is middle aged? Either way I like coming up with ocs I'll probably forget in a few months.

I'll likely end up changing their patterns a bit but for now I'm happy with the general body structure I have going on for them.

i usually wouldn’t do it for characters i havent read about but being so fr every pot and oots plot point has been spoiled for me already

Crowfur — directly named after Crowfeather — was the average sized kit of the litter. Hollyleaf didn’t like Crowfeather, but something something giving the Crow- name a new life. The -fur comes from nowhere specific.

Sorrelpool — directly named after Sorreltail — was the biggest in the litter. Hollyleaf knew Squirrelflight was close with Sorreltail, and that was also Cinderheart’s mother. The -pool comes from Leafpool, as Hollyleaf slowly wanted her in her life again.

Molefern — directly named after Molepaw — was the smallest in the litter. Cinderheart wanted to honor her brother’s life, and also Honeyfern’s life with the -fern.

Heartflame — somewhat directly named after Firestar — was the average sized kit of the litter. Of course, Firestar is Jayfeather’s grandpapa, and he was FireHEART once. Jayfeather was also close with Flametail too, which is where the -flame comes from.

Hollypelt — directly named after Hollyleaf — was the biggest kit in the litter. Hollyleaf would probably have been dead by this time, and this would honor her instead of lion/cinder having a holly- kit. The -pelt comes from nowhere specific.
