Jess: Luke, back me up here

me: The episode where Lorelai sings "I Will Always Love You" and immediately turns somber and locks eyes with Luke as she sings it and her little shrug to him at the end of the song and how fast she leaves the stage because it's the first time acknowledging that there are still feelings there after their broken engagement and the look Rory and everyone else gives Luke because THEY KNOW and his little smile because HE KNOWS and the next day him being okay with staying home for the summer because at least he'll be around lorelai and him not putting on his black hat because his blue hat means so much more is straight from a fanfic and the single greatest thing ever.

(I’m gonna assume Literati, not Jiterati? =P)

Luke/Lorelai and Jess/Rory, here we go!

Who cooks: Luke and Jess, definitely. That’s canon lol.

Who does the laundry and other chores: Lorelai and Luke together, because otherwise Lorelai takes too long (she gets distracted, and hates reading the care tags) and Luke gets annoyed (he separates things, even though he doesn’t  have too much variety of clothing). Rory does the laundry for her and Jess, because she loves the routine (And Jess just keeps the coffee and snacks and commentary coming, unless she does it while he’s working)

How many children do they have: Luke and Lorelai have one together, so 3 total. Jess and Rory are still discussing it, but she wants two, a boy and a girl, and he’s not sure if one can plan for that, but although parenthood scares him, he’s getting excited about it

Who’s more dominate: Lorelai, Jess

Favorite nonsexual activity: Lorelai has actually come to enjoy fishing with Luke, because she and luke have long conversations and the sunrise she once hated is actually really pretty. Jess and Rory love to curl up and read together, sometimes they’ll read to each other, sometimes they’ll just read silently quoting the book to each other.

Their favorite place to be together: L/L love to be in their house, tucked away from the world for a minute. Rory loves going with Jess to work, because of that new book smell and seeing him be all professional. And Jess thinks work is so much nicer when she’s there, and the light in her eyes makes him not even care about hiding his smile.

Any traditions: Hm…I’m not sure about Luke and Lorelai. Jess and  Rory will every couple of months, when their schedules line up, will hop on the first bus that arrives and ride it until they agree on a stop. Then they’ll spend the day or weekend there

Their “song”: JavaJunkie: Hm…Saved the Best for Last by Vanessa Williams maybe? And Literati: you know the answer, lol. “I’m Yours” by the Script.

What they do for each other on holidays: Luke makes the Christmas Meal, and Lorelai decorates the diner (which Luke “hates” but he’ll smiles when no one is looking). Jess will be on his best behavior with all of Rory’s family throughout the holidays, but Christmas Eve is their time. They’ll go for a walk in the snow (she’ll tease him about beheaded snowmen, he’ll tug on her scarf until she kisses him) and then he’ll make her hot chocolate from scratch and she’ll give him extra marshmallows

Where did they go for their honeymoon: Luke and Lorelai went to a bed and breakfast in Small Town, USA for the first week. The second week Lorelai convinced him to go with her to a Casino. They won a good bit of money due to their teamwork. Jess and Rory went to Chicago.

Where did they first meet: haha, Luke’s Diner, Rory’s House

Any pets: Luke and Lorelai have had a series of dogs over the years, and one random bird that made it’s home in their rafters and Lorelai dubbed it Crosby and insisted Luke build it a proper home. Jess and Rory adopted a cat that they found outside in the rain. 

What do they fight over: Luke and Lorelai bicker over everything, but they rarely fight. Jess and Rory have heated arguments over finances at times, but they cool off and solve it.

Do they go on vacations, if so where: Lorelai and Luke rarely vacation, being new parents and both owning their own business, but Jess and Rory try to as much as possible. They’ll try to time their away trips for business together and take a few hours together.
