SO! The main inspiration for this illustration was the song "La Bruja", a popular folkloric song from Veracruz; but listening to the whole album of "Veracruz, son y huapango" by Tlen Huicani and Lino Chávez (highly recommended~), I felt "La Morena" could fit too just bc of these verses✨
There are a lot of elements I'd love to explain to foreigners, but it'll have to be another time
I'm very happy with how this turned out! Hope you like it :->c
