@g.l._glowz has shared her story at our events before and will be sharing again on June 24th. She has also created a #jargarden in her home which is fascinating and beautiful. Here's what she has to say about it: "So a jar garden basically provides a head start for some plants to grow their roots in water and sprouting, before transferring them into soil. Also ideal for indoors, plus an awesome way to monitor the plants growth through the clear glass. Its getting popular in the gardening world nowadays but I first watched my grandma use them because we didnt have much and she always found ways to reuse many household objects in various ways. So I was inspired to continue my grandmother legacy with my mother by growing an indoor garden. The garden is also a way to build community to hold discussions, to seek and provide questions and answers about gardening, also providing physical imagery for my story telling about wisdom and life lessons I learnt throughout the years. It provides me a safe place to self reflect and healing. It is the nature representation of my upcoming book 'A Kintsugi Memoir'" Seems like a beautiful activity for healing work.
