thinking about back when i got into LotL/HnK i only watched the anime and made myself a sona (Strawberry Quartz) before reading the manga and finishing the series. And then I read the manga and realized what I had just signed up my sona for. As an outside observer, I didnāt think either side of the gems was good, and didnāt want to make my sona pick a side. So the way I removed them from the moral dilemma was to just go āyeah uh so it actually turns out that Strawberry Quartz got shattered by the Lunarians offscreen. yeah it was really sad. sorry.ā (i donāt remember exactly when in the timeline I decided this would happen)
I also thought it would be funny it make semi-joke gem ocs so I ended up with Talc and Halite, who I actually quite like. theyāre āteam membersā even if neither of them leave the school ever
I have semi-normal gems in the forms of Kyanite, Star Garnet, Pallasite, and Coral. all of them had a Gimmick (Kyanite was a doctor like Rutile, on a constant search for their missing fragments which had been lost long ago. Star Garnet was tormented by visions but I donāt like that very much anymore. Pallasite and Coral were teammates and opposites of each other while still being best friends, though a shared connection of neither of them being ātrueā gems [Pallas was a meteorite and Coral was, well, coral])..

They were my instagram pfp for a while. i gave them very fair āskinā because at that point I was still confused as to whether the actual gems were pure white or just very pale. I also tried VERY HARD to keep them from looking too much like Morganite because their hair was loosely based on how I wore mine at the time (long and down) but slightly gem-ified, so it ended up being pink and spiky, which I was afraid would look too much like Morga. Especially because in earlier color palettes, their hair was a much darker reddish pink (like the color seen in their eyes)
This was the only time I ever did the transparent hair over the brows/eyes btw. it was a pain to color
since sfawtde is basically the only reason i felt inspired enough to draw my minecraft skin in the first place, might as well self-insert

okay so in the end, i caught 144 pokemon in total, obtained 48 different species of pokemon, obtained 23 different species of pokemon for the first time, caught 21 alpha pokemon, and caught 86 pokemon using a back strike. this earned me 66,564 pokedollars.
I ended up with 62 species that were newly registered or updated, completed 418 research tasks, completed 44 new entries, and earned 10,460 points in total. I instantly went from a 3rd star member to a 7th star member.
Overall, Iāve seen 74 different species of pokemon and caught 70 of them. Iāve seen 68 of the pokemon in the obsidian fieldlands and caught 67 of them (mostly missing the eeveelutions, trade evolutions, and wyrdeer which would require me to battle with a pokemon other than my Samurott, which invalidates my challenge). I have 58 completed PokĆ©dex entries
and did it all while only using one pokemon šŖ
