Imagine Fennia and Grybe decide to train in the forest a little farther from the estate for a change. Gives a real sense of survival. Fennia stands in wait in the middle of the thicket. She darts her eyes around cautiously, waiting for any sign...her grenades at the ready...Rustle, rustle.Imagine there's a flash in her eye as she expertly hurls each grenade toward a moving bush. With alarming speed, Grybe flies to the left with his gun prepared to shoot. He unleashes a shot at Fennia, only for her to spin left. The two stand-off for a moment..."I think that's enough for today. You?~" Fennia says. Grybe nods. "Thank you for the practice.""Anytime! C'mon, it's getting late!""I'm coming-" He feels a raindrop on his forehead. They hadn't noticed the skies above were cloudy. It suddenly starts pouring on the two. "EYAH! That was fast!""Quickly, this way!" Grybe pulls her along the brush until they could see a small cave. They settle inside, soaking wet from the incredibly quick downpour."That came outta nowhere!" the Maiden exclaims. "Hah... The estate's too far too...""Should we stay here for the night?"Grybe asks, gazing outside. "It doesn't seem like it's gonna let up soon.""I guess so..." Her skull charm lights up, providing some visibility in the cave. "Do you know how to make a fire?""Sorry, no.""It's fine!~ Hm... I've got...some crackers and a banana. You want some?""I'm fine, thanks.""C'mon, don't be shy! It's not like we're gonna starve if you eat something!~""Hm... Alright, I'll take the banana."The two silently eat as they watch the rain fall. Fennia sighs as she shivers. "Next time, we should bring camping supplies..." she says. "And learn how to start fires...""Maybe we should sleep now," Grybe grunts. He lays his gun down and rests against in like its a pillow. "Will you be alright, Fennia?""Yeah, 'course!" She curls up on the opposite side of the cave after putting away her weapons. "G-Goodnight...""Night."But neither of them could manage to sleep. It's too cold and uncomfortable in the cave. Grybe could head Fennia tossing in turning to try and get comfy. After some time, she sits up. "Hey Grybe? You awake?""Can't sleep?""Yeah. Is it...alright if I curl up against you?"The Guardian could feel his face heat up already. He scoots over a bit. "Go ahead."He couldn't see it, but Fennia smiles in the darkness. She lies down beside him, before using his lap as a pillow. He doesn't move, just stares at the Maiden peacefully closing her eyes. "Is this alright?""Yeah... Thank you... Goodnight.""Goodnight."Grybe then carefully loops his arm around her head, giving her a little more of a pillow. He lets his own head relax and looks up, quietly falling asleep. The next morning, the rain clears up. Imagine Grybe doesn't want to wake up precious sleeping Fennia, so he carries her (and his gun) all the way back to the estate like the good boy friend he is.

Imagine Summoner jan10kh (do I capitalize your name?) takes her team to the amusement park for a day of relaxation and fun. Imagine they're all dressed in more normal and modern attire so no one is suspicious or thinks they're amusement park mascots. Aem and Loch take it upon themselves to win some prizes for Will and Edea. Aem's already won a small stuffed cat from that game where you throw the ball at the cup stack. "All my years of training have prepared me for this game," Loch dramatically whispers as he takes aim of his water squirter. "I'm prepared to win that big stuffed walrus as well," Aem replies next to him. Unfortunately, they lose to a small child, much to their dismay. But imagine Loch does manage to win enough rounds of a dancing game at the arcade to win a plush owl for Edea. And Aem wins an inflatable golf club at the hole-in-one game. Meanwhile, Maria is enjoying herself on the various rides. She loves the Ferris wheel especially, since it gives her the feeling of flying in the sky...while...sitting down... Her favorite would probably be he carousel, but she'd keep asking her Summoner why the horses won't respond and why they don't have wings or horns. Lunaris likes to watch the children play around. She takes a few pictures to persuade Sodis and Aryuto to come with her next time. She plays whatever RPG games there are in the arcade to win prizes for the other Guardians for when they meet up again (like an inflatable baseball bat for Signas, a few plastic rings for Rina, etc.)Finally, Galant has a wild time on the faster rides, like roller coasters and tilt-o-whirls. He doesn't expect getting wet on the log flume, but once he dries off he's pumped enough to try more rides. At the end of the day, the Summoner gathers up her squad to leave. But Lunaris stops them and points to a photo booth. They all squish in for a photo shoot (happy face, dramatic face, silly face photos uwu) before leaving, each of them with a copy of the strip.

(Aha... Mod loves yaoi and yuri. Mostly yaoi. Actually, I think most of my BF ships are slash ships...)Imagine Grybe and Fennia develop that sort of relationship with the big guy constantly protecting and watching over the cute, bubbly girl. You know that type. They're frequently seen together in the estate. Usually they talk about battling or what happened in the training hall. Many assume they're dating, others see it as a close friendship at best. But at first the other Battle Maidens find it hard to accept the friendship. They're intimidated by Grybe's looks and strength. One day, after lunchtime..."Bye guys!" Fennia says as she prepares to leave. "Where are you off to?" Vanilla asks. "Oh, just gonna hang out with Grybe!~""..." Serin and Vanilla exchange glances before Serin holds out a hand. "Wait, Fennia...""Huh?""Why don't...you skip that for today and stay with us for a while?"Fennia raises an eyebrow as she sits back down. "Why?...""Listen, Fennia..." Serin begins. "We trust you to make good decisions, because you're a reliable Maiden. But... We don't think Grybe is a safe person to be around.""What are you saying?""We're saying we'd be comfortable if you stopped seeing him. There's no telling if he'll end up hurting you with that mech of his...""Yes there is!" Fennia argues angrily. "I've gotten to know him the past week, and he's harmless to people!""Fennia-""No, listen here, okay?! You don't know him! I do! Grybe's a sweet guy! He's gentle and actually a big softie when you get to know him!""But he looks so frightening," Vanilla argues back. "Maybe on the outside but... He understands me, y'know? He's a good friend to me... I trust him."Serin and Vanilla exchange glances once again and subtly nod. "You really care for him?" Vanilla asks. "A lot!""Well... We wouldn't be able to stop you anyway, so... Go ahead."Fennia brightly grins and nods. "Thank you guys!" she cheerfully says as she leaves to find Grybe. What she doesn't know is that Grybe was listening from around the corner. He bashfully looks away as he registers what he heard. He smiles.

Imagine Grybe often sits alone at the estate, on a bench to the side of the monster house. No one bothered him, except for Sodis on some occasions. Not even the other Guardians liked hanging around Grybe for long. He scared everyone away. Not that...he wanted that...It just so happens that one day, while he's polishing his mech, he sees a satchel on the ground next to him. Curious, he picks it up. "Ah! My bag!" Before he could open it, he sees Fennia, one of the Battle Maidens, run up to him. "Ah, thank you! I've been looking for that!""This is yours?""Yeah!""Hm. Here." He tosses the satchel at her, and she catches it. Grybe goes back to cleaning, thinking that would be the end of it..."Hey... You're Grybe of the Former Twelve Guardians, right?" Fennia asks. "Hm? Yes... What of it?""What're you doing all the way out here, silly? Don't your friends wanna train with you?""I train on my own terms. Those are simply the people I work with..."He doesn't look up. Is she gonna leave now?..."... Is there something wrong?... Why're you always all the way out here?""Why do you care?" he growls. He doesn't mean to scare her, but why...?"You always seem so lonely...""Tch. People take one look at me and they run. They run away because they think I'm some monster who'll hurt them. Why do you think I'm alone?""Because... Because those people don't know how to look past you!""Eh?""Yeah! Hehe! I know you're a sweetheart on the inside! Perhaps we could train too.""That sounds like fun! But watch out, cuz I can pack a punch!""Haha, sure..."

Imagine Sefia always sees Aem up someplace high and spying on Will from a distance. She doesn't approve of it, because Aem has better things to do!He should be enjoying life, not following around someone who could take care of himself. So she hatches a plan to help Aem relax for once. "Hello, Aem?" She approaches him in the training hall, where he's sitting on a bench and watching Will beat the ever-loving heck out of a straw dummy. "Oh, hello Sefia," he greets, eyes still on Will. "I was wondering if you'd like to accompany me on a trip to the village.""Ah, thanks for the offer, but no thanks." His eyes are still fixated on his hero.Annoyed, Sefia blocks his vision with herself. "I realize you have a fascination with your idol," she says, "but I insist you take a break from that.""But what if he needs something?""Surely you believe your idol can handle himself. Or are you just that reliant?" She immediately regrets playing that card, but it apparently works. "I-I'm not reliant! Alright, fine! I'll accompany you to town!" He stands and calls to Will. "Sir Will! I'll be in the village!""Alright, don't get hit by the horse carriages again."In the village...Aem and Sefia walk around the village, much like tourists taking in the mountainous view. "What sort of errands are you running?" Aem impatiently asks. It's clear he wants to get back to following Will around. "Oh, I never said I was running errands." The Blade Queen smiles slyly. Aem looks quite shocked at the revelation. "What are you planning?! Are you plotting something against Sir Will?!""What? No, I promise. I simply wish you would enjoy your own life every once in a while.""What... What's that supposed to mean?""You spend nearly every minute of every day besides Will. Don't you ever wish you could enjoy your own time?""I do enjoy some of my time alone... I simply enjoy Sir Will's company more...""Have you ever spent a whole day away from him?""O-Once in a while! I end up worrying, though...""Then perhaps... Just this once, you can stop worrying." She looks at him with a brighter smile and motion for him to follow her into Lan-Lan. They sit at the bar and buy two sundaes. As Sefia slowly eats hers, she glances to find Aem genuinely enjoying the frozen treat. She giggles at some ice cream on his cheek. "You've got a little on your cheek." She wipes it off with her finger and licks it, to Aem's embarrassment. "A-Ah, thanks...""Are you enjoying yourself?""Yes, actually... It's been a while since I had one of these. Maybe I should stop following Sir Will around for most of the week. Maybe half a week?"Sefia lightly laughs at his proposition. "Would you have anything to do for that half of the week?""Well... Maybe we could hang around again? Like we are right now?""Yes, that sounds lovely."

Imagine Aem has a soft spot for Sefia. He thinks she's powerful and beautiful, but is put off by her icy cold stare, so he never tries to talk to her. There were a few times where he got to hold a short conversation with her, but they were just about battles and such. One day, Aem goes off to train alone in the Giant's Ruins. He slays another horde of Skeleton Kings and collects the loot they left behind. It's silent except for the wind and the fading hisses of fallen skeletons."Hya!" Shing shing shing shing shing!Aem looks up. Had he heard a shout?...An ominous wave of dark energy suddenly pulsates through the area, sending the Ultra Blade into unease. He quickly rounds a few corners of the ruins to find the source. He finds Sefia, battered and exhausted, battling a Lich. The demon advances, trying to catch the Blade Queen off guard, but she's too fast. Her arms swing forward as she sends her blades forward, cutting off attacks. But as she leaps backwards, she slips and trips up, the Lich getting closer. With swift speed, Aem lunges forward and sends his sword down on the Lich, pushing it away. "Sefia!" Aem calls out. She gets up with a small grunt. "Are you okay?""I'm fine," she assures. She unconsciously holds her arm. "What're you doing here?""Training, the norm," he casually replies as he beats back the Lich. "Get outta here!""No! I can handle myself! You go about your own business!""Your arm's hurt! I can see it from here! Get to somewhere safe and I'll take care of this!"As he turns to face her, the Loch suddenly knocks him down. With a scowl and another arm movement, Sefia sends out all her blades to attack. They slice through the Lich and paralyze him long enough for Aem to finish it up. Panting, he approaches the Blade Queen, who's more than tired. "Are you okay?""I told you, I'm fine..." Her eyes are as piercing as her swords. She attempts to walk, but falls. Thankfully, Aem catches her. "Sit down. I'll help you..."A few minutes later, Aem's got Sefia's arm patched up as she reluctantly drinks his last Cure. The Ultra Blade helps her stand. "Better?""Yes... Thanks...""Why'd you come out here alone?""I could ask you the same thing.""Erm... My friends are all busy." Well, that was true. They all had better things to do. "I see... I thought I could handle the Lich by myself...""Well, hey, it could overpower even the strongest warriors, so I wouldn't worry.""I suppose..."She glances down at her injured arm. Daring to be brave, Aem takes her hand. "How about...we train together? Every now and then?""That sounds nice. Why're you holding my hand?""U-Um," he let's go. "I wanted to...see if it's feeling better yet."To his surprise, Sefia smiles a little. "I've seen you looking at me before. I'm fine with it." She takes his hand. "Let's head home, partner."
