Starting by allowing you to place blocks over each other, the levels and abilities gradually build up your options until you’re copying tiles, swapping the squares about and plucking pieces right out of the lunchbox to totally rearrange. This perpetually expanding set of tools also means that the difficulty definitely climbs up over time, but with some trial and error every box is solvable and likely remains within the average player’s skill level.

The spatial awareness puzzle gameplay is pretty satisfying to get right, and the story told in silent images throughout the campaign is cute and compelling. The growth of the young cat mirrors the growth of the player’s skills as the levels progress, and the art really is delightful to look at, so it’s a very pleasant experience overall. Have fun working through the 14 different worlds, and perhaps you can treat yourself to a bento when you get them all done.

• The one background track does stray a bit close to ringtone territory
