If I say the skin tones are bad - there are likely only 3 options and the darkest shade is either a soft “white” color or they greyest brown youve ever seen.
I put a ⭐️ next to my personal favorites.
I have ONLY put ones up that are still available. If a link breaks, let me know and I’ll update the list.
⭐️ Lady Maker.io - 10/10 for skin tones with a wide range, only female presenting, modern and up-to-date fashion that’s very cute with multiple options to layer and swap, but could do with more options.
Hand Holding Pairs : M/F, good skin tone ranges, not grey brown. Cute style. Limited options but you’re not really using it for all that. Good for cute ship pairs.
Mr. Handsome Face Royal Gentleman : M only, definitely giving Squidward Handsome face vibes. Good for royalty stuff, but the brown skin tones are Not Good.
⭐️ Creador de personajes : very cute, very stylized, can do M/F. Skin tones are questionable.
⭐️ 我流男青年 : M only, trOCIOUS skin tones, but the art style is really nice. Pointy chin energy.
我又好了 : You cannot change the skin tone but the art and style is nice.
⭐️ Bufftuy’s room : very cute with tons of options. I really like the style of this one. M/F options.
Djarn’s Character Maker : F only, great skin and hair style options. Very realistic??
⭐️ The Cutest Picrew Ever : I love this picrew so much. Skin tone options are horrible, but the art style is so nice!!
きゅんショタメーカー : if you wanna make them look like babies… I guess…
カスタムメンズメーカー : Skin tone options are horrible, I don’t like the art style but it might be some people’s cup of tea!
⭐️ sushicore : Honestly the most famous picrew out there, this is a stylized perfection. You will get addicted to making faces with this one.
エリーのメーカー : M/F, great range of skin tones, very styled in a cute way. Definitely will look something like your OC but not nearly as close as you want.
ハグ (Hug) : Skin tone options are bad, but it is fun to play around with. There’s a knife option!
あの子がこっちを見ている : very stylized, you can make M options but they will look a bit… wonky. Skin tone options are horrible.
⭐️ 元気ゴリゴリ🦍 : VERY CUTE, very much a ‘mun v muse’ kind of picrew. Skin tone options are debatably bad. But it’s still cute anyway.
天使ちゃんメーカーDECO : F only but you can try and do some M presenting, skin tones are HORRIBLE, but the art style is cute if you’re looking for some ethereal angelic types.
⭐️ Little Wizard Maker! : VERY CUTE and very popular, I’m sure everyone has done this at least once in their lifetime. Skin tones are bad but at least the darker ones arent grey.
黒髪の男 : M only, skin tones BAD, chances of making ‘different’ faces is low. But it’s a vibe.
なさや式キャラメーカー : skin tones are bad, but the art style is nice if you’re going for an old-timey Japanese style.
人間(男)メーカー(仮) : skin tones are bad but the art style is really nice and there are a lot of options, looks like it’s M presenting only but I’m sure some of you can work around it!
角＆耳っこメーカー : SUCH A CUTE STYLE, M/F, skin tones are just okay, everything is very watercolor-esque! Will make your muse look Baby.
DGCメーカー : wowowow very anime, very early 2000s boy racer anime you’d watch after school, very cute. Color options for everything are lots of bright primary colors.
ヒトかもしれない : HORRIBLE color options, you get white, tan and BLUE. The style is very nice though if you can manage to make your muse in it!
うんにゃらほい : M only, DO NOT LET THE COVER ART TRICK U. It’s cute but the options are bad. If you can make your muse, it’s gonna be super hot.
Yandare Boys : Very cute, very stylized, lots of options, skin tones are… bad, but honestly I’d make it anyway.
振り返る男子メーカー : M only, skin tones are okay but definitely on thin ice. Will have same face syndrome but cute otherwise.
Old Man !! : Only man picrew!! Skin tones atrocious!! The cigs don’t match up with half the mouths, but come on it’s old men!!!
⭐️ Cute Boy Maker : M only-ish?, Skin tones are bad. The art style is sO good, I love this one with all my heart.
[BAYDEWS’ avatar maker!!] V2 : M/F, GREAT range of skin tones, can be used for fantasy stuff! Great body size choices!!
Chunky Himbo Vibes : This one has so many options and looks so good, the art is great, the style is great, it’s just fun to play around in.
おっさんメーカー : M-ish only, skin tones are bad, but the style is nice enough.
ストイックな男メーカー : M only, horrible skin tones, but the art is ok to just play around in it for a while.
Pairs Fighting : Very cute fighting picrew! Cute style, not much detail.
Photograph Picrew : Skin tones are bad but the premise is really cute and edgy. It’s like your muse on a polaroid!
⭐️ 長髪のおにいさん : No matter what you do, your muse will look like a twink, very good for muses with long hair. Skin tone options are horrible.
Pillow Hug : VERY CUTE get your muse to hug a pillow, they are all chibi style, tiny babus, makes you wanna eat them.
Uomo : M only, skin tones bad, have you ever wanted your muse to stare at you across the table awkwardly? Well now you can make it in a picrew!
Character maker : Very styled, very strong colors. Definitely an acquired taste.
⭐️ Demon Maker : M only, I love the style of this one even if the skin tones are horrible. It’s very cool fantasy energy.
FanTroll : M/F, BLACK AND WHITE ONLY, has a great option for chest sizes that’s really nice.
⭐️ 껍질-미리깐 메이커 : M/F, skin tones are very good! Everyone will look like a kid, but it’s a great style and lots of very cool monster / in human options.
Makowka : M/F, skin tones are great, this gives off an art house indie feel to it, definitely great for Normal tm muses or mun v muse posts!
⭐️ 私の好みメーカー : only one skin tone and it’s white, but I love the style of this one so much that I’ll almost forgive it.
ガトーショコラチクルー : M/F, skin tone options are BAD but the colors available are really good, pointy chin shoujou energy, but still really nice.
⭐️ SoftBoi : M only but honestly?? Either. Skin tones are bad but the ones available are SO GOOD. I love this one so much, make all ur muses so soft and cute, like they work at a host club.
수릐 픽크루 : skin tones are HORRIBLEEEE ughghgh but it’s very cute so if you can make your muse, you’re lucky!
⭐️ 性癖くんメーカー : smug boy hours, skin tones are A+++, I really really like this one but I’m super biased!
Actual Babies : it is what it is, but the style is cute. Skin Tones Bad.
Icon maker : Skin tones are AMAZING, so many color options, the style is very cute and simple, not a lot of detail but the clothing and accessory options are A++
Kyoumei : M/F, skin tones are bad, but the style is cute and the other inhuman options are really good.
少年その１: the style for this one is so cute, like coloring pencils! Skin tone options aren’t great but the ones they do have are okay.
adrisona maker : very comic book style, the color options for everything are really good, skin tones are good
少年メーカー : it’s like a demon maker! The skin tones are horrible, but they aren’t supposed to be human so take that as you will. The accessories are so fuckin good and the style is great.

⭐️ Strong Jaw Man Maker : I love this one, even if the skin tones are bad, the style is just so good. Very “”manly”” lmao
⭐️ 黄色の男 : M only, it’s like a demon… yandare… chaotic vibe, all of them will look Thick in a Good way.
