Which is funny because this movie is from 1991, which is when Star Trek 6 came out. A little TRUE story to celebrate James Doohan on what would have been his 100th birthday: 🎂 He once received a suicide note from a fan. Knowing he had to do something, Doohan called her and invited her to a convention in Indianapolis. When she arrived, he then asked her to attend another convention two weeks later. When she visited him there as well, he asked her again to meet him at his next convention. 👍 He invited the woman to a total of 18 events and she came to every one. Each time he would simply “talk positive things to her,” encouraging her the best he could. 😊 After the 18th convention, the woman stopped showing up. Doohan had lost contact with her and his searches came up empty. She went silent and of course he thought the worst. 😞 EIGHT YEARS LATER, Doohan received another letter from the same woman.
