January 25-27 2019
Presented by James Black Gallery and Iris Film Collective, this hands-on workshop facilitated by Nisha Platzer invites participants to explore the world of Super 8 film, creating a short black and white film which they will hand process in photochemistry. A brief introduction to the format on Friday evening will be followed by shooting films on Saturday and processing on Sunday.
Arrive with an idea, or experiment with form and visuals to create an original Super 8 piece. One roll of black & white reversal film per team.
Materials will be provided and no experience is necessary.
Public screening on Sunday night open to all!
