Haifoss Sunset

Located near the soon to erupt Hekla volcano, Háifoss as the name implies is one of the highest waterfalls in Iceland dropping 122 meters into the Fossárdalur valley. The Fossá river which forms the cascade is a spring water tributary of Iceland longest river, the Þjórsá, which originates at the Hofsjokull glacier.

Torre del Sella, Dolomites, Italy

Taken on Breidamerkursandur beach as ice calves off the Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier, part of larger Vatnajökull Glacier. The ice blocks flow into the Jokulsarlon lagoon and gets washed out to sea before the tides deposits them back on the beach.

Last light at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Dolomites, Italy

A couple of weeks either side of solstice the sun sets on the Tre Cime north faces themselves. This particular evening I didn't think I was going to get anything due to heavy clouds in the west. However just at the sun was setting the sun came through perfectly illuminating the towers.
