Ahhhh Alexis my sassy shadowhunter! So Alexis does not have a parabatai and that is mostly out of choice. She’s a very driven shadowhunter and she is one of the top fighters in the NY Institute which is why she is able to do solo missions and can be trusted to get the job done. If she had a parabatai, it was probably intended to be Isabelle if the Lightwoods had their say because it made sense since the two girls grew up together, but Isabelle and Alexis never quite clicked enough and they both always preferred to fight apart. Alexis does lowkey wish she had a strong enough connection to someone to have a parabatai but she’s also terrible at showing emotions which makes things tricky :P
Love interest wise, Alexis’s soulmate is Jace Wayland Herondale! They grew up in the NY Institute together and were always bickering which evolved into flirting and they’ve been dating on/off for the last few years. They love each other probably too much but they’re also both terrible at communicating and showing emotions. When Clary comes into the picture obviously that shakes things up but Jace and Lexie are already on rocky grounds when that redhead rocks up! At the end of the day Jace can flirt with other girls as much as he wants but he’ll always come back to the cranky aggressive love of his life. They do have a rocky path ahead though but at the moment he is the only love interest planned :)
