Why not take a trip down Malaysia's road to independence at the Carcosa Seri Negara Jalan Merdeka exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. ~ The exhibition is organised by the Asian Heritage Museum and has been running since 1 September 2017 and features more than 200 artefacts and a collection of historic photos that tell the story from before the country's independence. ~ You should go visit as soon as possible because the exhibition may shut down at any time. ~ The building, Carcosa Seri Negara, is free of charge and open every day from 9.00am to 6.00pm, and you can arrange for someone for a tour if want to know more (also free). ~ Unlike the National Museum, the exhibition has actual historic pieces and pictures from Malaysian culture.
