Stabilimenti Farina made three unique Jaguars for Belgian Jaguar importer Mrs Bourgeois, the other two based on MKVII chassis and all three were presented at the Brussels Salon 1952. Stabilimenti Farina was the company of Giovanni Carlo Farina, the elder brother of Battista „Pinin“ Farina (pinin = young/small. He officially changed his name to Pininfarina in 1961) and father of the first official Formula One World Champion Emilio Giuseppe "Nino" Farina.
