Sketches. Doodles, even.
The uncountable number of parallels Jon Snow and Jago have😭🤌🏻.. my orphan little pookies with brown puppy eyes😩 they'd be bestfriends🥹🫶🏻
What a time to be alive...
The Dreadful
I liked the film, it's visually beautiful, the costumes and scenery are also so good. I liked the plot in general, there are deep meanings, but either the poorly worked out script or the short time frame did not allow it to fully unfold.
And of course the actors are wonderful, Morwen is scary, Anne and Jago are beautiful and cute, Sophie, Kit and Marcia are so great🔥🔥🔥
The chemistry between Sophie and Kit is so unrealistically good❤️ that they really need to act together more, they are together on the screen it's something incredible and want to watch and watch. Anne and Jago are so romantic and in love😍😍 that I can't believe the ending, and since the ending is open and since she forgave Morwen and felt pity for her, I fantasize that she also forgave Jago and the three of them live in his hut and the main one in this "family" is Anne, who has found her freedom and independence, so now she rules them.
I also liked that Anne had a new hairstyle at the end, it was like a symbol of her transformation.
Oh, and how many references there were to Jonsa😍
But Jago x Anne were not enough for me, I want more them together, give me a two-hour movie with just them.
I'm so glad for this film, it's been a long journey since the film was announced and now it's out, a little sad that this is all.
I join everyone and say thank to Sophie and Kit, thank to them for wanting to work together again and they also knew about their great chemistry and chose this project, I hope they want to do it again. So thank you Sophie and Kit❤️ and the entire team of The Dreadful❤️

Have you all seen the new Machimi “The Assassin and the Alien”?
Jago vs. Fulgore
It's well established that atevi (or at least the Ragi atevi of the aishidi'tat we spend most of our time with) have a strong preference for felicitous over infelicitous numbers, of which 3 and 2 are very much the former and the latter. This is so pronounced that the plans that would become Shai-shan were reworked to incorporate three hatches instead of two.
Given this, the propensity for pair-bonding in atevi romantic (as we would call them between humans) relationships seems odd. Pairs are, after all, intrinsically unstable.
But! Most of our data here comes from atevi formal marriages intended to produce children. And we know that atevi marriages are usually limited in scope; "til death do us part" is very unusual, and a marriage contract usually has provisions for when and how the marriage will be dismantled. So, my theory here is that dyadic relationships are specific to relationships with the intent of procreation -- the marriage is an unstable pair, but the addition of a child will make it a stable triple and bring it into felicity, and once the child is grown, the marriage winds down as well to produce three individuals.
This implies that in non-procreative relationships, we should expect to see pairs relatively rarely; "let's have a child" requires two atevi, but "let's fuck" requires (or at least, is more comfortable with) at least three.
And that, in turn, implies that Jago suffers from a persistent feeling that, to be a good partner, she should either be looking for a third, or getting her alien boyfriend pregnant.
