So Binka has a biological aunt (Jagna. I'll give her her own design alongside with Binka's mother) from Snezhnaya, and in og universe the aunt has moved on from her grief and is a maternal figure to Binka.

In this AU however, Jagna gets close to Binka for years in means to manipulate her. Jagna's goal is to use Binka as a vessel, to transmute her with the help of alchemy, into Binka's mother instead. (*In this AU Jagna's obsessed with alchemy and studied some forbidden books. But still her procedure is flawed)

She lured her to Dragonspine with an excuse of having a simple family trip, in the end drugging Binka and doing what she ought to do. During the procedure Albedo would interrupt, fighting against Jagna while trying to disturb the process.

Instead something goes wrong, the alchemical circle started to glow in harsh, cold manner. Frost tendrils erupted, enveloping Binka whole in a cocoon.

The harsh, cold wind picked up as something shifted.

Large claws soon tore through the icy prison, tearing it apart as a chimera emerged tall on her back feet with wings spread, eyes sharp as they focused on Jagna only.

With forceful strength Binka crashed her front foot against Jagna's body, crushing her aunt into a bloody pulp, before making her escape; wings flapping uselessly as she started to climb the mountain even further with formidable efficiency.
