Despite my criticism on more than a few points, in very little space Watters and Brombal both gave Kory a voice that intrigues me. They both know she's extremely wise, but also the way she words her phrases is incredibly lyrical. I could listen to Kory talk about her philosophy on every single thing and never get tired.
I'm very curious what Watters and Brombal could have wrote for her if they were allowed more space, complete freedom and the editorial not breathing down their necks constantly when it comes to Kory. Tate said that Kory was out of his control, that every aspect depends entirely on higher ups, so we won't see writers being given complete creative freedom for Kory anytime soon, which is a tragedy. Placing any limits in fiction, in a fictional world, is ridiculous in itself and no amount of excuses could explain such an immature decision. But hopefully someday that will change... ❤️🩹
