Tyrren: I'm glad someone new is in charge. I think you'll be way more competent, and definitely fairer than our last boss. By the way, what exactly happened to her?

Jill: I can't say. Anyway, this does mean I'll have to step down from the union, obviously, at least until someone else takes over.

Tyrren: Well, don't think I'm letting this go, but on the union front... I think I have an idea for who could be our new union rep for the floor. Now, I can't say that this person would be better at this than you, I mean, you did literally start the whole union-

Jill: Please, I just picked up from where Nardeth left off. Enough rambling, who do you mean? You? Because I have to say, you have a lot on your plate, what with running a whole team of your own.

Tyrren: no, not me. I mean, the person who has been supportive of this whole idea since the start. Someone who knows about something nefarious that she refuses to tell me, because she's just that loyal to the cause. I've had a hunch that she's been protecting you.

Jill: ... You wouldn't turn me in, right?

Tyrren: Woah, this isn't a threat! Whatever you did, I won't pry. I'm just saying, Jade won't even tell me whatever it was- that I have no way of connecting to you- so I know she would do anything to protect her colleagues, and her friends.

Jill: Wow, she didn't even tell on me to the guy she loves? Maybe she would be a good replacement.

Tyrren: *sniffs*

Jill: What is it, what's wrong?

Jill: Hey everyone, can I have your attention? After our union became official, I think receiving our- very reasonable- demands may have been too much for our boss. She's, uhh, no longer psychologically fit to run the department.

Correhnon, mumbling: Do you mean, she's finally being investigated for corruption and general villainy?

Cyrin, quietly: I know you think management may have had something to do with, well, everything that's been going on lately, especially since you, well, died, but talking out loud about it really isn't safe.

Jill: We can all hear you. Look, the boss is too indisposed to do anything, whether or not she is behind, uh, anything that's happening.

Jade: And what awful despot will take over from her?

Jill: Well, that's just the thing, actually. Me. At least for now- I know this is a big change, but I hope-

*everyone starts whooping and cheering*

Jadelix: ... Absolutely nothing, babe. You?

Tyrren: Apparently, someone just deleted, like, half the names off the watchlist.

Jadelix: Oh, really? Interesting.

Tyrren: Yeah. You see anyone hanging around corridor F? My team's supposed to have a look for this guy.

Jadelix: No, I haven't seen anyone. Good luck.
