weird answer maybe but i just got my nails done for my friend's wedding (!!!) and they make me so happy to look at, i usually do my own nails but i got em DONE done with all different dot designs and lookin at em makes me happy :)

my friends at work 🥹 those boys have my heart rn, i may not love my job all the time but they make it so bearable (and girl too but that's different that's been big sis for 11 years basically)

again another weird one but the plate i just finished painting (that i started in december but shhhh) and the pencil holder im working on now have made me SO happy to just have time to create and paint again and they're turning out so well!

I’m soooo happy for them ugh 😭 they deserve it, and seeing everyone tear up/cry got me bad. And it’s crazy cause I always keep up with their comebacks, I’m just not as much of a hardcore stan like I used to be, but that hit me like a truck 🤡

And then they released the 2025 version of Chamber 5 all grown up wearing jackets with the fruits they had worn in the og one and then I needed a break cause I was not going to cry over that (I did).

25. a piece of advice for taking care of yourself in fandom spaces

this is esp relevant to me rn since i'm going through it, but if fandom begins to feel overwhelming and participating feels like a performance, take a biiiig step back and recenter yourself, however that looks for you. for me, that's not looking through the fandom tags, sometimes it's not even opening tumblr at all. i watch my shows, read the manga, sometimes i share my thoughts with other people privately, and move on. there's this big pressure to be the first to say something or to keep up with everything else, but like. we don't have to, do we? it's much healthier to just have fun in fandom in a way that's comfortable for you ^^

Honestly, a fire album. I think this technically would be my favorite album (aside from Memorabila) since I really like all the songs, but alas, the length of all of them has disappointed me (like always, wasted potential in my opinion). This could change though lol. I’m not sure why I’m even surprised anymore since their songs have shortened significantly these last few years, but maybe I have more hope than I’ve ever imagined. I didn’t know it was a concept album so I was slightly disappointed when it wasn’t (because I had seen people saying that maybe we were going to get solos lol) so that’s my fault LOLOL. I haven’t listened to the spoken tracks though.

Knife was fun! I’ve always been into the rage, hiphop type of songs (and I really liked Daydream and Outside) and so I was super excited for it. Just like always, it’s pity that there was not another verse. Since it was a title track, I thought it’d be longer 💀 but the Bad Desire was so short (even longer than Knife, wahhh) so idk what I was thinking LOL. It’s sad because many songs with this type of style (like Bag Bad Back by RIIZE (a bridge, HELLO), or Fashion by CORTIS - man, even Pass The Mic by them) has managed to stretch to 3 minutes, so it’s a pity their producers decide to cut the songs. In my opinion, it lowers the replay ability, but that’s subjective lol.

No Way Back Home should’ve lowkey been the title track… I really like “Knife”, but :( this song still suits their concept so well, and has a darker tone that I think really fits the concept. It has a bridge! It’s long, but not super long! It feels like an extension of “Bad Desire” and their Memorabilia tracks, but oh well. At first I was unsure about it, but was I wrong as soon as I pulled it up. FIRE!

I like Stealer! It’s fun and groovy.

“Big Girls Don’t Cry” is such a huge loss because what do you mean it’s not even 2 minutes 😭 I loved their voices (Heeseung and Jake’s especially haha) and the lyrics were kinda… but loved the song!

“Lost Island”: LOVE!!! The intro took me out but it’s such a cute song! Might be my favorite aside from “No Way Back Home” but maybe “Sleep Tight” too so idk.

“Sleep Tight”: Ooh, I really like this song too. They lowkey need to do more songs with this style (RnB fits them so well). Jake ate with producing this song. And the lyrics are so good :) Heeseung and Jake did awesome!
