Jade kept it secret that she returned home with her questionable dust. A part of her hoped that the mystery sims would return for her again until then she delighted in her dust. 

When asked about what happened to her Jade’s memory was spotty at best. She said she remembered a sim, or perhaps sims, with wings. It was ridiculous since that was impossible. Jade said that she felt compelled to follow the sim like as if nothing else in the world mattered, that while she was there she felt euphoric. She said it was hard to think about anything but that sim or sims but also it was surreal like a dream. She distinctly remembered that there was a child in the house and that she cared for it while she was there but other than that, Jade had no clue about anything except that if felt similar to some of the charms that Sonnet would cast on her. Ajisai began to consider that perhaps the missing sims were put under someone’s spell.  

Jade spent time with her older cousins and often ate with them since the younger ones had their own schedules. 

Senryu and Tanka’s court dates arrived and the household was tense since depending on how things went the twins could be heading back to China and be separated from their family or they could stay and at least until Haiku’s date the family would be together. Tanka admitted that since their parents had died long before he could could remember them he thought of Botan as a father but while he didn’t see Sonnet as a mother, he loved her dearly as his aunt. 

Vitrail then passed away after outliving most of her family by a long while. Still the household was left in tears at her passing even if it was a long time coming. 

Sonnet learned that she was correct about the house soon becoming more hectic when she started to show in her pregnancy. 

Botan said his goodbyes to his family before getting whisked away to what was essentially a prison. Though he realized that he was lucky for this much since otherwise Specter probably would have killed him just to make Sonnet suffer. 

The twins and Jade shared a birthday and it seemed that Jade was looking more like her mother each day. While the boys looked more unique from each other. Botan was surprised to see his nephews look like a more balanced mix of their late parents rather than favoring one over the other.
