Opinion on;
Character in general: The concept of Jacoby intrigued me as soon as I read your about, (mainly because initiallyĀ the āformer Forensic Science studentā bit caught my eye, but it quickly became just one of many things I like about him), because he seems like a genuinely realistic character. Thereās no pretending that anybody in the apocalypse would get through without some kind of trauma, even if they havenāt had like someĀ hugeĀ horrific past. Everybody living in that dystopiaās got stuff they both do and donāt want to forgetābecause to do either would just hurt.
How they play them:Ā Brilliantly. Seriously, thereās no justification of every movement through use of extensive description of backstory with every sentence, Jakeās got a good dry sense of humour and is a genuine stand-up, smart guy whoās had a lot of stuff happen to him, and that comes through easily. Your writing styleās nice and clean and you reflect his thoughts while also steering the plot in a good direction without being obtrusive.The Mun:Ā I get the impression youāre actually really smart/interesting/both, and youāre always really sweet and understanding if Iām late or if my writing happens to be a little sloppy that day. Awesome, seriously.

Oh geeze. There are several people that I write with that I simply adore their writing, their characters, and them as people. I really hate making lists though cause Iām always so paranoid that Iāll miss someone then feel like an ass for doing so. But basically anyone that has dedication and you can tell that they really get and enjoy their character and their writing can stir up real emotion, theyāre pretty rad in my book.Ā
