The views from this entire trail are some of the prettiest in all of #NewZealand! The #JacksPointLoop follows this coast for several kilometers with sweeping views of #LakeWakatipu. I didn’t see another human for an hour! Only a few minutes drive from #QueenstownNZ, but a world away. Felt like vacation, even though I could see my house across the lake! Parts of #JacksPointLoop track felt like a fairytale world, like the way this branch arched over the trail while the sunlight made the leaves glow. I even discovered a small cave with a moss and fern-covered, dripping spring next to it. Damn it! I went on a 2 hour hike and tried not to take a lot of photos. I sorted it down to the best ones, and there’s still 43! 🤬 Will narrow down more but going to need a few posts… #JacksPointLoop is a loop track, so the beginning and end have amazing closeup views of #TheRemarkables #mountainRange.
