Here is the latest edition to the ‘Dead famous’ gallery in the ‘Confessions of an undertaker’ archive. Lee Harvey Oswald! Better known as the assassin of 1960’s US president John F Kennedy. After killing JFK in public in 1963 Oswald was quickly apprehended and arrested. Shortly after his arrest Oswald was gunned down himself by night club owner Jack Ruby. Oswald died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen shortly after arriving at the same hospital where doctors had tried to save president Kennedys life only two days before. Oswald was buried in Fort Worth Dallas Texas at Shannon Rose Hill memorial park. In 1981 upon the death of his Mother Lee Harvey Oswald’s body was exhumed amidst rumours that there was the body of a Russian agent in the casket and not that of Oswald! It was confirmed that the body in the casket was that of Lee Harvey Oswald dental records confirmed this as his body was by now severely decomposed. His casket was also very water damaged and as a result he was buried in a new casket.
