The first character I first fell in love with: Death since the first book I read was Hogswatch. After Death probably Vetinari. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Nobby Nobs - I find him and Colon not very funny and kind of annoying and I used to (still sometimes do) skim their parts in the books. That said I really love Nobby and it has a lot to do with Jingo so there you go. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: I’m almost afraid to say this because I feel like I’m going to get some heat for this - but while I like Sybil she’s not a character that I love. She’s nice but there are more interesting, dynamic characters that I am into. So yes. The character I love that everyone else hates: I don’t think there’s a character that everyone hates, per se. I mean other than the baddies who you are supposed to hate and even then, hate is such a strong word. I don’t like Carcer but I don’t hate him. Salzella makes me laugh and I sort of love him despite the fact that he’s a terrible person. Dragon King of Arms is just a great villain. Elf Queen isn’t human so I can’t really judge her by our standards. So on and so forth. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Vimes is beginning to annoy me in the later books, I hate to say it. It’s something the fandom has discussed before, so I won’t get into it. But there you go. Also, I liked Carrot in the beginning but then he’s probably like a sociopath in disguise and I’m waiting for him to crown himself like Napoleon fucking Bonaparte. The character I would totally smooch: Other than Madam, the lady of my heart? Tiffany! Totally Tifanny! The character I’d want to be like: I really like Susan, hahaha. She’s great, I’d like to be as calm and as badass as her. Tifanny is a little too much like me as a person so no. Probably Nanny Ogg since she’s so personable and outgoing and actually cares about people which are all things I’m not. I mean, I’m outgoing and such but I don’t really care and I don’t put effort into maintaining relationships whereas Nanny cares and I envy that. The character I’d slap: Hahaha maybe Granny’s sister Lilith. She’s pretty in need of a slap. Salzella for sure for being a creepy, fat shaming douche wad. A pairing that I love: V^2, of course. Tiffany and Annagramma is great and I love it. One sided Madam/Follett always makes me laugh. Follett pining after her. Writing her letters. Sending her flowers. Her just not that into it. Vetinari being an obnoxious 16 year old and being like “ewwww that’s my aunt”. A pairing that I despise: I don’t like this question, it feeds into inter-fandom discord and snarkiness which is dumb.
