"I'll live and let die all the promises you made," is how Jack feels when Alex tells him to never talk to him again. He doesn't have much room to talk though. Jack decided that after high school graduation, he was going to leave his band, barely-existent family, and few friends to go to college in England. The hardest bond he thought he would have to break was with Alex, his boyfriend and the singer of their band. Alex broke it easy enough with one sentence though. When Jack arrives in England, new classmate Josh is a nice comfort, and a distraction from Alex. At least for a few months.
