Due to recent events, today has suddenly become quite stressful. One of my issues is that stress leads to fear which, in turn, amplifies my emotions and reactions. Jack is enjoying the beautiful flowers (or rather the fun zipping bugs he isn't allowed to chase) and reminding me to "Keep calm and carry on." G0d tells us "do not fear" over 365 days in the b!ble. That's a "fear not" for every day of the year! Jeez... I know He is testing me as I naturally have a spirit of fear. It has become easier for me to recognize when this spirit is upon me, and so it has become easier to rebuke through prayer and modern science. My handsome boys. My protective boys. My handsome, protective, sleepy, bed-hogging boys. It is currently 1.45 AM, and they are all strategically set on the bed in such ways that I am unable to get comfortable. Rose never snuggles, I wish she would but I don't blame her for wanting personal space. She fully enjoys her space during the night because during the day her big brothers all pick on her and smother her for tag and snuggles and naps. No sleep means it's bible study time.
