I’m scared, and I’m praying, and I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, and I hate waiting impotently and I hate how hard it is to even think about going back to that fucking hospital and how selfish and weak i am to feel that way when I’m not even the one fighting for my life right now
It’s so silly, but this is the only recording i have of my grandpa right now since all my home movies were lost; just him waxing philosophical about the Crypt Keeper, and it’s how i want to keep him in my mind--articulate, brilliant, larger than life, and with dignity

More weird crap I found on the internet about my grandpa and his comics. I think these were actually kind of cool tbh
Do you ever stumble on something in your iTunes and just wonder "how the fuck did that get onto my computer?"
Apparently at some point I acquired a recording of the score of the flop Broadway musical Chu Chem.
If racist showtunes trigger you, you might want to avoid this.
JACK WOHL: A friend found a book by Jack Wohl this weekend in a bookstore, and it led to a more forensic examination into this creative meanderer and graphic pun maker from the 1960s. Wohl started his career with a comic strip called PIXies that used typography and numbers to create visual/political/social puns out of the forms. He then went on to do another column called "Wohl Nuts", for which there are no images available- yet... Then in 1960, Roger Price (one of the inventors of Mad Libs) published 60 pages of Wohl's adorable illustrations in The ConFORMers.
