- in the current chapter of my dbhks fic that I’m working on it’s focusing on dabi and tenko and when tenko starts scratching his neck dabi holds his hand to help with it(he has gloves!)
- they’re all on first name and I hc dabi has trouble picking up on things so when they’re talking about something serious they call him touya
- follow up on the last one!! They know he’s touya and in fact have met yumi and natsuo!! they don’t see eye to eye on everything but they DO get along and it makes dabi really happy even if he won’t say it
- shigaraki has a gaming set up w like stolen shit and he’s currently showing dabi how to play pokemon switch! It’s mostly just dabi watching him play but they’re both having fun anyway!
- toga likes to tease that he views her as a little sister but he genuinely does so even when he’s like “no I don’t you little weirdo” he doesn’t mean it and follows up by rustling her hair
- he goes to Twice for advice! Twice is like the older brother he never had and they get along really well! He was definitely right next to tenko ready to kill redestro for toying with twice’s feelings
-he can sing!! He mostly just hums quietly to himself when doing things or just going for a walk but sometimes toga can get him to sing along to music she likes with her
- his scars aren’t super hard to hide!! This is less of a hc and more of just something I’ve thought on a lot. He can easily wear sunglasses(like I did when I cosplayed him), a scarf, a face mask(a cute one that Magne got for him), and just long sleeves and bam!! Scars covered and now he can go hang out in public without getting spotted
- I got a good ways into writing a fic of him and toga going to a local fair bc I thought it’d be cute(and it was) but unfortunately I never got around to finishing it so maybe I’ll try doing that soon!

- he’s not fully convinced Hawks is actually trying to join but he’s definitely the one that trusts him most! It’s not bc he likes him or trusts heroes, it’s bc he’s stupid and has trouble picking up on things like mentioned earlier
- the rest of the league can kinda tell hawks is a spy but bc they don’t want to hurt dabis feelings they don’t tell him(but also bc they know he’d be able to handle himself in a fight when hawks eventually turns against them)

-ok ok this is half “bnha but a competent writer wrote it” half “uraraka gets ofa au”
-ok so it starts the same as canon but when all might offers midorya ofa he refuses bc he wants to prove that quirkless ppl can be heroes just the same as ppl with quirks and he doesn’t want to cheat at life
-that said he does know abt ofa now so since all might trusts him and knows hes got good judgement he asks him to keep an eye on his peers to see if anyone has good potential yknow?
-also he helps him train to actually pass the entrance exam bc christ midoriya did you really think you could be a hero without ANY physical training???
-ENTRANCE EXAM REWRITE
-BECAUSE HOLY SHIT!! THAT IS SUCH A BAD ENTRANCE EXAM!!!
-the entrance exam (for the hero course) has 4 parts
The written exam (covers basic academics + the basics of hero law, and an open response on why you want to be a hero)
Combat exam (contains human and robot combatants bc some people’s quirks don’t work on robots!!! really!!!) (also you get points for incapacitating combatants (ie tying them up, shutting down the robots, etc.) instead of just getting points for knocking out/destroying them)
Rescue exam (randomly generated rescue scenario, functions similarly to the rescue portion of the provisional license exam but the ppl being rescued arent such hardasses)
An interview with the like. Top half of the applicants? Like if theres 40 spots they interview the top 80-100 applicants. The interviews take place like 2 weeks after the main exam once the scores from the first 3 stages have been combined n ranked and all that.
-izuku gets in bc he was able to do well on the first three tests bc hes smart and GOT PHYSICAL TRAINING and in the interview he talked abt his ambition to be the first quirkless pro hero and also like. He’s more motivated by “proving himself” and “helping others” than he is in canon? Like his canon motivation is more focused on “being number 1” so…. Yeah this makes more sense
-OK OK OK SO he still saves uraraka in the combat exam but he saved her by moving the rubble/robot remains she was trapped under and then once she’s ok one of the human combatants tries to jump them and she saves him by using her quirk and liek. Throwing him in the opposite direction. Not the greatest idea but it works so!
-oh yeah btw you can still earn rescue points in the combat exam!!
-ok ok im running out of steam bc im typing this out on the spot but important things to know!
-izuku keeps his eye on uraraka and so does all might and after the events of the usj attack all might decides to give her ofa
-bakugou does NOT get into ua. Given the way he is at the start of the series there’s no way he would pass the rescue portion of the entrance exam, and even if his written and combat exam gave him enough points to get through to the interview stage, the staff would see in the interview that he (in the state he is at the start of his time at ua) is not fit to be a hero. His priorities are completely out of order and he’s not in a good state with himself and his own mental health. He ends up going to a different school.
-because kirishima and kaminari are really critical to his development (kirishima more so but kaminari is important too and their friendship is rlly important to me) they also go to that school! We’ll get to see them a bit but they aren’t at ua so we dont see a TON of them.
-oh also!! Im rewriting a lot of the way ua functions and how their staff and classes work and im taking a lot of insp for that from
this post!!!!
