A short comic for a krbk gift exchange!
i do believe that both deku and eijirou have the biggest breeding kinks but in different shades. deku loves the fun and the kink and the thrill of it all, think he likes to play with the risk. on the other hand eijirou is on a very intentional mission to knock you up for real
incomplete constellations ; e. kirishima
nonsoulmate!kirishima x fem!reader
summary: everyone in the world had a soulmate assigned at birth and dictated by a mark on their body. it was the most absolute law of the universe, but like any rules, there were always people who went against it.
Everything about him was hauntingly beautiful. From the way his eyes held the galaxy, stars and constellations suspended in his mirthful countenance, to the way his smile sprinkled the sweetest of flavors onto your otherwise mundane and bland lifestyle. His hands were capable of only the tenderest of touches, nothing more than a gentle sweep of warmth and protection across the surface of your skin, your hair, your lips. His voice was like a song, a melody so strong with words and phrases harmonizing with your own.
Eijirou Kirishima was a gift.
A gift that wasn’t meant for you.
You knew you were going against everything the universe laid out for you. You knew you were going to be met with vehement protests from those around you, begging you to stop before it was too late. You knew you were eventually going to break your own heart.
You knew all that, but so did he.
The interactions started out small, not substantial enough to sound any alarms. A shy wave here and there, some polite smiles, and the occasional small talk—nothing too drastic. Then it all started to change.
Shy waves turned into heartfelt hugs. Polite smiles turned into delighted laughter. Occasional small talks turned into frequent deep conversations. Anyone on the outside looking in could easily see that the avoidable was gradually becoming the inevitable, and it was a sight to see.
Neither of you were quite sure who fell for who first—it sort of just happened. No confessions were made because you both just knew. When Eijirou’s gaze lingered on you for a fraction of second longer than what was considered normal, you knew. When you started pointing out little things that reminded you of him, he knew. When he refused to let go of your hand even after it was no longer cold, you knew. When you came running to his house after you heard him crying over the phone, he knew.
Words weren’t needed. Your actions spoke volumes of just how much the two of you loved each other.
So why did it matter if the marks on your skin said otherwise?
Eijirou was a gift that wasn’t meant for you, but you treasured him as if he was.
“Hey, keep it down. I can hear you thinking from all the way down here,” he mumbled, blinking one eye open to gaze up at you.
“Sorry,” you said sheepishly, bringing your hand up to comb through his hair. He snuggled his head further into your lap, basking in the natural warmth permeating from your skin.
“Well, now I’m curious.” Eijirou blinked open his other eye, flashing you a weak smile. “What’s going on in that pretty little head of yours?”
You sighed, shaking your head. “No, it’s fine. It’s stupid.”
His smile immediately dropped, and he pushed himself off of your lap, turning so that he was facing you directly. He instinctively reached for one of your hands, squeezing it tightly. You ignored the way your heart shifted down into your stomach.
“If it’s bothering you, then it’s not stupid,” he assured softly, head dipping down to find your eyes, locking them on his own. “I’m not going to force you to tell me if you’re not comfortable, but I’m also not going to sit here and listen to you disregard your feelings like that.”
He gently caressed your knuckles with his thumb, the gesture bringing a sense of comfort and protection that only Eijirou was capable of bringing. You would never admit this outloud, but whenever he looked at you like that, attention undivided and focused solely on you, you were reminded of just how unfair your situation was.
You glanced down at your joined hands, eyes catching on the sliver of white peeking underneath his sleeve. You didn’t have to see the whole thing; you already knew what Eijirou’s soulmate mark was.
He had no issue presenting his soulmate mark to you—it was the complete opposite really. But he drew the line at letting it show whenever he was out in public. It wasn’t because he was trying to protect himself from wandering eyes and scrutiny, but it was more so his way of protecting you. Lucky for you (and for Eijirou), your soulmate mark was on your hip, so it was easily obscured from prickly busybodies who wanted nothing more than to stick their noses in places they didn’t belong.
It wasn’t uncommon for couples from the younger generation to go against the laws of the universe, but it was certainly frowned upon. Frankly, you thought the judgement was unwarranted. However, there were times where you caught yourself slipping, falling back into the preconceived notions that have been ingrained into your brain from the minute you were able to comprehend.
But you always shook the thought away quickly. You weren’t the poster child for virtue. Could something like this even be called virtue? Letting go of the person you love the most just to abide by the white marks on your skin?
Sure, maybe you were being unfair—not just to yourself or to Eijirou, but to the two people who shared your respective soulmate marks. Maybe your soulmate was out there, waiting for you to show up, so that they can finally use the pick-up line they’ve been perfecting for years. Maybe Eijirou’s soulmate was nearby, trying (and failing) to be discreet as they scanned people’s arms, faces, legs, any exposed skin they could find, just to catch a glimpse of the familiar crescent moon on their body.
Yes, maybe you were being unfair, and that was something you’d apologize for.
But you’d never apologize for falling in love—that wasn’t a choice, that was out of your control.
But also—
“Do you...Do you regret loving me?”
You hadn’t meant for the question to come out so suddenly, but it’s been tucked away in the back of your mind for so long. Any chance it saw to slip out, it took it. And judging from the way his eyes widened, you surmised he wasn’t expecting the question to be asked so abruptly either.
Or maybe he just wasn’t expecting that question at all.
“Of course I don’t,” the redhead was quick to refute. “Loving you was probably the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I–I don’t..”
He trailed off, and you felt like someone had just dumped a bucket of ice cold water on you. Because the expression on his face was something you never wished to see, and you were the one that caused it.
He looked like someone had just told him the worst news he’s ever heard in his life. Which, quite frankly, wasn’t too far off from what you said to him. An array of emotions flickered across his face—surprise, confusion, a touch of fear.
But the one that stood out to you the most, the one that made you want to turn back time and never utter that question in the first place, was doubt.
Eijirou was always confident and sure about your love for him, as he was with his love for you. His mission was to always make sure that before your head hit the pillow at night, not once did he do something to make you second guess his feelings for you. He thought he was doing an excellent job, and he truly was, but your question sent him into a spiral.
And now he was the one doubting himself.
“I don’t understand,” he breathed, letting go of your hand to wring his fingers together. “Why are you asking—did I do something wrong? Am I not doing enough? Am I—”
Your hands shot out, grabbing onto Eijirou’s shaky ones, and you pulled them close to you, just above your chest. He faltered, taken aback by the sudden action,, and opened his mouth once again to ask you what you were doing, but you beat him to it.
“Ei, stop,” you croaked. “Listen to me. You did nothing wrong, okay? I know you love me. Not once have I ever doubted that. What you’re doing is enough—more than enough.”
“Then, why—”
“There was never a moment in all the years that I’ve known you that I’ve ever regretted falling in love with you, nor have I ever questioned your love for me,” you paused, bringing his hands closer to your face and tightening your grip on them. “But have you ever thought about them?”
The topic of your soulmates wasn’t uncomfortable to talk about, but the two of you always had a silent agreement: you both acknowledged that they existed. You weren’t going to pretend they didn’t just so that the two of you could live in ignorant bliss. Conversations usually never breached further than that, but looked as if it was about to.
Eijirou didn’t need to ask to know who you were talking about. He took a deep breath, swallowing the lump that began to form in his throat.
“Uh, yeah, I have—a few times. Why?”
“Do you think we’re being selfish? Loving each other even when we know the person who was destined for us is somewhere out there, waiting?”
He didn’t respond right away, allowing the thoughts in his mind to settle down long enough for him to process everything. Truth be told, it had never really crossed his mind. It took him another moment, but suddenly everything clicked into place, and he knew exactly why you asked him that question in the first place.
You were right. You weren’t doubting Eijirou’s love at all.
You were just scared of his soulmate’s love. Loving Eijirou wasn’t a competition by any means, but you couldn’t help but feel threatened by the prospect of his soulmate loving him, possibly even more than you. He deserved the heavens and the earth. He deserved to be loved by someone who completed him. He deserved to be loved by someone who wasn’t selfish.
He deserved that, but he didn’t want it.
Loving someone—Eijirou couldn’t see how that was selfish, couldn’t even fathom the thought, really. Love can be pure and beautiful and delicate and intense, but also ugly and stressful and misunderstood and terrifying.
But—
“No, I don’t think we are,” he said breathlessly. His eyes settled on yours, and you almost gasped at how fervent they looked. “Love is many things, but it’s not selfish.”
He scooted forward, close enough so that your knees were barely touching. Not once did he take his eyes off of you.
“I admit, I’ve always wondered what it would be like to meet my soulmate. To see what they look like, to hear what their voice sounds like, to see where their mark is.”
Your hands began to tremble.
“But at the same time, I never had the need to.”
He moved back slightly, gently prying his hands out of your grasp. He stretched his left arm out and pulled the sleeve up with his other hand, showcasing the beautiful crescent moon mark on his wrist. He held it up to you.
“This,” he gestured, “was the universe’s way of telling me that I have a soulmate.”
He brought his arm back down, letting the sleeve droop down and covering the mark once more. Eijirou reached out, placing his palm flat on your chest, right where your heart should be.
“But this,” he smiled knowingly, “this was your way of telling me that you are my soulmate.”
And god, the way he said it with such certainty and valor, as if daring you to disagree. Your fingertips trailed across his arm, meeting up with his hand against your chest. You intertwined your fingers together, lowering them so they rested in your laps. He was still smiling as he carefully wiped away the tears beginning to accumulate in the corner of your eyes. He leaned forward, pressing a chaste kiss to your forehead, letting his lips linger for a moment before drawing back.
“Did that answer your question?” he asked seriously, but you heard the teasing lilt in his voice.
“You’re such a sap,” you choked out, breaking into a weak laugh. Eijoru merely hummed, squeezing your hand tighter. “But yes, it did.”
“Good.”
Neither of you had any idea what the future had in store for both of you. It held too many unknowns, too many variables. But if being with Eijirou taught you anything at all, it was to indulge in the present and cherish the past. Brief flashes of your early encounters flickered through your mind like a movie, replaying all of the moments that proved to you, without a shadow of a doubt, that he was the one you were destined to be with.
You fell forward, wrapping your arms around his torso and resting your head against his chest.
And if that wasn’t enough, all the proof you needed was right there
The faint beating of his heart was felt through the material of his sweater.

"Safe With Us"
Kiribaku x fem!Reader, comfort, gentle hurt/comfort, trauma response, no explicit content
It happened so fast you didn’t even realize your body was reacting until it already had.
The three of you had been hanging out on the couch, a lazy afternoon tangled in warmth and teasing jokes. Kirishima was always touchy, always leaning into you with big, warm arms and an even warmer smile. Bakugou had a quieter kind of presence, not less protective, just… different. His affection was quieter, but never lacking.
It wasn’t anyone’s fault.
Kirishima had just shifted, maybe a little too close, his hand brushing along your lower back as he tried to reach for the remote. Bakugou leaned in too, his knee pressing between yours for balance — and suddenly the position felt wrong.
Not because of them. But because something in your body screamed that it wasn’t safe.
Your vision blurred. The breath caught in your throat. You weren’t here anymore, just somewhere else, somewhere colder and smaller and so, so terrifying.
You flinched hard. Pulled back fast. A sob caught in your throat, your heart pounding so loudly it drowned everything else out.
“Whoa— hey, hey, sweetheart—” Kirishima was already moving back, hands up, eyes wide with concern. “It’s okay. You’re safe. We’re here.”
Bakugou’s brows were knit in worry, his voice low and grounding. “What happened? What did we do?”
You shook your head, your voice barely a whisper. “I—I’m sorry. I know you didn’t mean anything. It just—something about it—”
Kirishima moved slow. No touching. Just there. “You don’t have to apologize. Never. Your body remembered something scary, huh?”
You nodded, tears brimming.
Bakugou, surprisingly gentle, crouched next to you, his eyes searching your face. “Tell us what you need. You want space? Want us to sit near? We’ll follow your lead.”
You exhaled shakily, body trembling. “Can you—just sit close? Not touch yet. Just… be here.”
“Of course,” Kirishima said instantly, settling a little distance away, his warmth still close but not overwhelming. “No pressure. No rush.”
Bakugou sat on your other side, arms crossed lightly but relaxed. “You don’t owe us explanations either. You matter. Your safety matters.”
Silence stretched, comfortable. You listened to their breathing, the quiet hum of the TV still playing something silly in the background. The world stopped spinning so fast.
“I’m trying to work through it,” you whispered.
“We know,” Kirishima said softly. “And we’re so proud of you.”
Bakugou added, gruff but honest, “You don’t have to be ‘better’ to be loved. You’re already enough.”
You breathed in slowly. Exhaled. And for the first time in a while, it felt like maybe you could believe that.
Because here, with them, you didn’t have to be perfect. You just had to be you.
And that was more than enough.
