Do you think Izaya would ever feel remorse over something he does? Like, a big big screw-up, a lot of people die, or something like that?Comparison: Izaya is kind of Loki. In the first Avengers film, (Idk if you have watched it?) when Loki looked down on New York and all the destrcution he brought (didn't made him himself but made it so it was possible), for a split second you can see him having remorse (well, really just a second, before he continues), and I think Izaya could be similar.
i haven’t watched it HAHAH so i’m sorry but the loki comparison went straight over my head but i think i get the gist of it
as for izaya, i do think he has that capability of feeling guilt. it’s seen in novel 9 with the infamous light pole punching scene (realizing that he’d hurt shinra if he went through with his celty head valhalla plan). but in general, izaya is, after all, a human with very human feelings. although he does a very good job of suppressing them and not allowing anyone to really know how he’s feeling, i don’t think that means he doesn’t feel at all. he’s jealous of shinra because shinra’s able to detach himself; he isn’t, so that can cause him to feel guilt and remorse, in my opinion
