Well well what a year 2020 has been!
Amazingly I’ve been extremely busy despite the pandemic, working through lockdown 1.0 on the preproduction of this - my comedy / fiction TV directing debut for Sky Arts!
I was thrilled to work with the brilliant and visionary artist Sarah Maple on bringing her world first concept “art-com” to life; a series of 6 standalone short films charting the trials and tribulations of the modern day working artist, culminating in a 65 minute feature compilation of the films airing on Sky Arts. The films are also available on Now TV for the next five years, so do check them out! We were lucky enough to get some fantastic guest stars, including David Tennant, Sonia Boyce, Will Gompertz, Kate Bryan and Nikki Bedi, and I think there’s something for everyone in the off-beat humour we built into Sarah’s world.
