     The night had fallen - LIKE HIM. Nnoitra’s black wings looked even darker now in the moonlight. He was sitting on a tall gravestone, long legs swinging idly in the air. He was both bored and frustrated. This day hadn’t brought him ANY closer to figure out where he was supposed to go. ALL he wanted was for HELL to open up to him - or Heaven to let him back in. But the Gates of Hell stayed shut, and with his black wings - he couldn’t fly. Couldn’t reach the Heaven that he had fallen from. Another feather loosened from his wing, and got caught by the light evening breeze, falling softly to the ground. The most difficult thing about his situation was that he really didn’t know how to get out of it. He didn’t know who he could talk to. He had been hanging around the cemetery the whole day, and those who had come to visit ( not many people had ) had been TERRIFIED to see him. All except an older woman, who had asked him if he was Death. He had told her no, and she had offered him a part of her lunch which she had brought with her to eat in front of her husband’s grave. But when Nnoitra accepted the bread she handed him, it had turned to ash in his hands. That’s right. He was CURSED. 

     An eerie feeling crept down his spine, and he found himself turning his head on instinct. His single eye fell upon a figure. Had he not memorized every single statue in this graveyard, he would’ve mistaken the person for one. Was it--- A person? There was certainly something different about him. Something evil. Nnoitra remained perched on the gravestone, but didn’t take his eye off the stranger. Eventually, he broke the silence, because he was pretty sure he knew what he was looking at -

A fight with Ichigo Kurosaki ends in a still bleeding wound all the way across his chest among various other wounds and a very confused Grimmjow. A check-in with Aizen and Kaname leaves him missing a limb which only serves to piss him off even further. Fuckin’ Aizen just let it happen because of course he did, he doesn’t give a shit about him.

Now, confused and angry, he is moving towards his own room so that he may lick his wounds in private. He’s been avoiding Shiro to the best of his abilities, it’s too fucking weird, and it feels like some sting of betrayal. Shiro didn’t cause this wound but it might as well have been him when they looked exactly alike.

He’s tried to tie off the wound but it’s sort of hard to tie fabric when you only have one damn arm. It feels weird to be missing a limb, there’s some sort of feeling as if the limb is still there but it’s phantom. His arm is completely gone and unless someone has some ability to heal him, he’s not getting it back. No amount of his healing abilities will get him his arm back.

Blood trails behind him, dripping from both wounds and onto the floor. Every step causes pain to shoot out throughout his body and the blood loss makes him dizzy. One hand flies out to press against the wall so that he can steady himself as he comes to a stop. Head bowed down and teeth gritting together in anger.

He wants to hit something, he wants to destroy something, but he can’t! There’s nothing in sight and even if there was, he doesn’t have the strength to do anything. Too much blood loss and exhausting. He should really stop the bleeding but it’s nearly impossible when he doesn’t know how to function with just one arm.

The sound of someone calling his name has him freezing. His body going completely rigid which doesn’t exactly help the pain but he doesn’t know if he can handle seeing Shiro right now. He remains where he is, back facing Shiro. 

Fuck. God damn it.

“Go the fuck away, Shiro. I’m fine.” An obvious lie, he’s so fucking far from fine and Shiro isn’t going to let him go without trying to help him but he’s gotta try because right now, he doesn’t exactly trust Shiro.

Why the hell does some shinigami look exactly like the other Arrancar? It doesn’t make sense unless Shiro has something to do with him. What if he’s some sorta spy or some shit? And if that was the case, why the hell did he get so close to him? To make him falter in battle and kill him? To ensure that he wouldn’t kill that fuckin’ Shinigami?

     It’s been quite some time since she had crossed paths with Shirosaki and yet in the midst of a leisure walk in the realm of the human world, there he remained basked in by moonlight and starlight hues. He isn’t doing much but loitering around and she plans to leave him alone until it crosses her mind again---- he isn’t doing much.
