nah, hifumi is pretty demonized like in fanon. a LOT of them are like...based off of the fanon treatment of them (pretty pure sayaka and sonia etc). hifumi’s demonized and it’s portrayed like he’s being gross to his childhood best friend which SUCKS. ibuki is kidzboppified. she appeals to children!
himiko gets also forced to appeal to children, she's a magical girl. think the 5-7 age range. gundham and toko are for the 9-12s. gundham's a disney prince and toko is a creator of fantasies. the kids eat that shit right up and don't look past the smiles and neither do the parents because of how happy their kids are.
hiyoko is. hiyoko is a special case. she hides her age from everyone. she desperately wants to seem mature.
the fandom runs with the fact that they assume her age and goes WILD, in terrible ways. she's one of hiroko's girls, along with sayaka, sonia, kaede, ibuki, akane, hina, and miu.

My first thought for the powers AU Hope's Peak was: Academy for Heroically Gifted Students! And their motto is something "inspirational" like "You can never try hard enough" when really it's very literal and it's more like "If you're not dead than you can do more for our very corrupted desires!!"
